Actually, we're waiting for Hibiki to find proof that Gill:

1) Has unlimited power, and can use as many attacks as he wants w/o energy loss
2) Can launch a Seraph Wing instantly
3) Can launch infinite Seraph Wings
4) That even while dead, his spirit can still fight
5) That Seraph Wing is a one-hit kill, no exceptions
6) That Gill is immortal and can never die.

So until Hibiki finds this proof (which will never happen), DBZ's won. Because if he finds this proof, there would be only one solution (and I'm not revealing it just yet)

Besides, I already found the proof:
-Gill is not immortal, but is a genetically engineered human (of some sort). If he dies, his spirit CANNOT fight, and if he dies, he's dead. The corporation he works for doesn't create another body for his soul (despite Tarkan's contradiction)
-Gill does not have unlimited power.
-Gill cannot launch Seraph Wing instantly and infinitely.

Gill's body is not immortal, like you said it was genetically made. But his soul is immortal, and can never die. He can swap bodies, and use his pyro/cryo/deity techniques for that swapped body.

Tarkan: I've read up on Gill, and i've never came across anything that said that his soul is immortal. Technically, because he was artificially created, he wouldn't have a soul (like the androids). Personally, I think Street Fighter would win. You see, DBZ dudes do things very slowly and it takes like, a bazillion episodes just to do a kamehameha, Ryu would have killed Goku by the time Goku said Kaaaaaaameeee-BAM. thing is in dbz goku or his son, or vegeta or whoever sometime or another becomes 50000 billion times stronger with a power level of infinite oblivion which could destroy existance and all infinite numbers of dimentions with a sneeze. its a little far fetched, first a bad guy comes along, beats goku or whoever, then goku has to train r sumthin, then his power level is like quadrupled, then a friend gets #### up then he gains more power cuz of anger, then he beats the bad guy, then another comes along, then he beats someone, then that someone has to train to become stronger, then his power level..... bla bla and so on
so the thing is... there is no way street fighter pplz can beat dbz pplz cus somehow goku n the others have infinite strength with no limits n stuff... its almost as confusing and mind boglin' as time space continuum.

my opinion on dbz is that its too much exgagerated and its the same story each time: someone want to have the dragon ball and destroy a planet and goku or anyone of his friends try to stop it and OH NO! he is hurt and transforme into super sajinn (dont know how to spell) at the last moment and kill or hurt the ennemy. so thats my opinion but you can disaproove me.

5simon, the topic is debating sf vs dbz at large, not their abilities in-game.

SF Fighters would have too low powerlevels to stand a chance against even Chaozu. With a powerlevel of 24,000 (using his Gyarriku Ho), Vegeta had enough power to destroy the earth. The strongest SF character could MAYBE destroy a city. Nappa was able to destroy a city with no problem at all, without trying, at a powerlevel of 5,000, so the SF fighters would definately be down at around 1,000.

By the end of DBZ, all the non-human characters have powerlevels in the high millions.....in fact, the weakest Saiya-jin has a powerlevel of around 100 million in SSJ Goten. The strongest non-fused Saiya-jin would be Gohan Saikyo no Senshi, at a powerlevel of roughly 1.3 billion, and SSJ3 Goku at around 600 million. Fused, SSJ3 Gotenks is about 1 billion, and SSJ2 Vegetto at around 2.4 billion.

So yeah....i'd have to say SF wouldn't have a chance.

The WEAKEST fighter in DBZ is at least 20x stronger than the STRONGEST SF character (Chaozu).

The WEAKEST human in DBZ is at least 50x stronger than the STRONGEST SF character (Yamucha)

The WEAKEST non-Saiya-jin alien in DBZ is at least 100,000x stronger than the STRONGEST SF character (Piccolo)

The WEAKEST non-fused Saiya-jin in DBZ is at least 100,000x stronger than the STRONGEST SF character (Goten)

The WEAKEST fused Saiya-jin in DBZ is at least ONE MILLION times stronger than the STRONGEST SF character (SSJ3 Gotenks)

So yeah.....DBZ wins.

yhea ok. now i catch. so its just (one more time ) exagerated. but i like dragon ball because the drawing are VERY VERY VERY good. now on that i think dragon will win and......the animated series of street fighter is very crap :(

Because of disagreements, this topic will be around for long time. I've looked through here, and people back up their reasons with this and that, and the arguement will keep going. I not gonna take part in it. ???

As for my opinion not that it matters... I would say Dragon Ball Z, but they talk too much in their fights, like a couple of girls having a slanging match...

We actually eliminated all personality traits, so things like talking, hesitation, curiosity,etc are all nonexistent...just straight-up ass-whupping.
In short yeah... why bother with a story if you're gonna screw it up I say... ^_^
