i have to agree with you there, i think new characters/ certain characters getting modifyed would be alot better than just having different outfits, i mean when/if another is tournament made by the mods and some of the admins, one of the prizes in the last semi official tournament was a golden ryu so you can win costumes and what not win tournaments, you can't win new characters now can you ?

I don't think that TMy will create such a big event with moves SOALY for VIPs. Though you're right. he MIGHT give us VIPs some VIP-only moves. Though i think the just of it. Everyone will be able to get new moves.

I started playing the story modes with other characters and discovered the following

Ken- In the outro, Omega Red mentions Weapon-X
Spiderman- " " " " Spiral

I've TRIED to "decode" those codes in the chronicles. But i'm struggling pretty bad. Anyone wanna help me out or got any clues for them?

I don't think Awakening and DOR has anything to do with DWX. But they might give us some clues for it.

Here's what else i found out

Ryu (Awakening)-The rage has awakened. and it's inside me (something close to that)
Ryu(DOR)- Him and Ken wouldn't let rage overcome them (something close to that).

I'll post screenshots of them when i get the chance.

First of, tell me the probability of kids here actually voting for Zangief. Will YOU vote for Zangief in the next poll ?? As far as I can remember, only a very few ppl vote for Zangief.

Besides, as we've been discussing for 2 years now, lag would be a very very horrible influence on grabbing. That's the main reason why the Shun goku satsu move is the way it is. Play the normal console/arcade games and you'd notice that Evil ryu or Akuma actually has to grab u to perform that move.

But here, TMyApp made it in such a way that completing the warp automatically starts the move. He'd have to work out some other thing with Zangief but pure grabs would be very hard to come by... trust me :biggrin:

Raging Demon's a grab move and grabs cannot be blocked. But there isn't any grabs so Raging Demon just doesn't go right because it is possible for the computer to block Raging Demon (that is, if you do it too slow)!!! :(

That's the next thing i was thinking about...The waiting part.

If they did, it would be kinda like such time-altering like the matrix with the time it might take for the character to "grab" the opponent under the situations that blanka mentioned.

i believe cammy would rival that of wolverine since they both have no projectiles..... here cannon drill would be like sliding claw in the since that it could go UNDER most projectiles

her ummm hmm rising kick (upper cut kick) would be like kens uppercut (same properties of passing threough most profectiles)

her spinning back hand would pass through punches and kicks

her hobblegoblin (errr what ever its called) (she jumps at oppontent and balls up)

would be intersesting to implement in the game


the main drawback is that her throws are a major strength of hers.... sooo she would be at a disadvantage but man it would be sweet to have her in SFO



and as for the list of games that TMyApp imports sprites from that was mentioned earlier... u might want to check ur sorces on that bub. ur list is incorrect and incomplete.


and yes sbyrd5 chung-li is the only character with an alternate costume that can be brought into SFO with out it looking wack.

The Aerial Optiv blast is proballythe only thing in my opinion that makes cyclops even remotely almost as leet as wolverine.

Aerial Optic blast is a must...

The reason being so he can rival Ryu.

Ryu's Shinkuhadoken is aerial also..so is Cyclops Tractor Optic blast...

Hell if we could have the aerial one over the ground tractor optic blast..I'd choose aerial EVERYTIME,.

I have this feeling that wolverine's fatal claw x will be implemented when DWX comes out. But it would take up a bunch of power to use it. Like Raging Demon.

(i THINK) to avoid laggin and so on, tmy took out the "grab" part and made it hit, unless it was stopped by a projectile or special attack.

the fatal claw X. it might be like Ken's Shippu-Jinrai Kyaku. It can go over to where the person is, and do the attack. Or with this attack, he can just stop trying to move, and just fall down to be hit. He could still be able to block.

i think it would be ok if wolvie had the beginning of weapon X, "the part where he dashes".....then the raging demon screen, then he exits with the fatal claw look...."the jumping in the air......yea, i think it would solve ur lag problem!!! :p

If that were to happen, it wouldn't be cool. Since they would be alike. I THINK the reason Ryu has attacks similar to Akuma is cause since Akuma had the Raging Demon in him first, Ryu searched for power, and found it. i THINK. or something around that. I'll look it up.

i believed that NoSoul4evr saw the "?" on the character selection screen when he was playing. So, those boxes mean that someone will be coming. They just aint sayin who.

i think a great addition to the game would be to make Akuma and Sakura be able to do a shinkku hadoken, (like ryu's) during rage factor. Like when ken does his flame hadouken during rage factor. :colgate:
If that were to happen, it wouldn't be cool. Since they would be alike. I THINK the reason Ryu has attacks similar to Akuma is cause since Akuma had the Raging Demon in him first, Ryu searched for power, and found it. i THINK. or something around that. I'll look it up.

Lag always happens, there's nothing we can do about it.
Akuma has always been able to do Shinkku Hadoken but his is called Messatsu-Go-Hado. As for Sakura, no changes needed since her Hadoken is bigger than any of the other players and her special takes up almost the whole screen.

Zero. No offense, but i DON't ever see that happening. He's trying to make story modes that ties in with street fighter. I've been told that his fav character is cyclops (which would explain why his avatar is always cyclops when he posts news on x-force 2010 ). He would hacve to create his own profile for the game, and tie himself in (somehow). It would be cool for like an ultimate boss. Though i don't see that happening.

@king: you're right. Akuma was posessed by the "Dark Hadou" (in street fighter alpha) so, some of the similar (can even say exact) attack would have different names.

Sakura is powerful enough, so again, you're right :D Besides, se was just added at christmas, so, why change her so soon.

Dan later defeated sagat and won the tournement that year surprising everyone.

Dan is the original joke fighter invented by capcom to make fun of ryo and robert from snk's games, who were a ripoff of ryu and ken.

Street Fighter and Marve| vs Capcom 2. Sagat was pretty much in SF since the beginning. I don't know if he was in the 1st street fighter game...but i'm guaranteed sure he was in Street Fighter 2 and after.
