thats very true...I myself thought it was charlie and i was wrong...although it would of been cool....but with TMy he seem very unpredictable so u'll never know...so i guess will find out when dwx comes :cool:

I read this earlier. Don't remember who wrote it but here goes.

Mgneto at one point, took out wolverine's anamantium metal. Thinking wolverine had no claws anymore, it was revealed that hte claws that were supposedly made of anamantium were real bones (covered by the anamantium) that were somehow transferred from another part in his body.

That's what i know Magneto and his anamantium thing is true (i read about it the other day). The rest, i'm not so sure.

You do have a point. Remember. The Last Five. The Five Warriors were

1) Omega Red
2) Sagat
3) Rogue
4) Blanka
5) Venom

There will most likely be something involving all 5 of them. There is no doubt about it.

Put into consideration the other DWX Chronicles (that SBYRD5 found) They speak of Sentinal, Wolverine, Cyclops, Onslaught, Creed, Xavier, and at a small point, pheonix (i think).

TMy said to search chronicles, that might help give SOME answers. I'm still "studying" them to find as much info out of it as possible.

Good point there Mastermax. And Sabretooth has been implemented in one of the games (XvsSF) that SFO's engine is built off... so there could be a reasonable possibility that Sabretooth might be next :biggrin:

Well, it has to be big, but not anything unreasonable. Like, I doubt they'll be 10 new characters or something like that.

TMy usually throws us some kind of clue, I don't remember any time he tried to pull a red herring. So, I think there's a pretty decent chance that it at least has something to do with Wolverine.

What I think will happen is that Cyclops and Wolverine will get their "dark versions". However, I don't think there was a time when Wolverine and Cyclops became evil. Instead, what the DWX event will do is activate their "X-factor", which unleashes the full power of their mutant genes. This is how Cyclops and Wolverine will get their VIP forms.

Also, I think a new character probably wouldn't be hard to imagine, and I think it'll be Sabertooth. He wouldn't be that difficult to code, since he and Wolverine have some of the same moves (Berserker Barrage, Berserker Barrage X, and Weapon X). Plus, it'd be cool storywise, what with Logan's and Sabretooth's hatred of each other.

From I've seen in to documents it looks like the main storyline is, The sentinels took over, they captured jean grey, Sabretooth is recovered and is guarding jean on a unknown place, Onslaught attaked the Sentinels, and they have new numbers. So my guess is that there will be new helpers that allied with the people who had Sentinels, Jean will be part of the story and Sabretooth will be added along with perhaps an edited Wolverine and Cyclops whose powers may destroy the owners along with them and the TLF Onlsaught would be destroyed and there would maybe be the start of anothjer enemy. lol I told u I wasn't good in guessing :;):

most, what do you mean by most, there are plenty of charectors left, tmyapp showed us that his game rippage doesn't only include the marve| fighting games, he also gets them from a sf games, all of those new helpers tmyapp added before tlf were from sfa3, and he offered some charectors only from sfa3, such as R. Mika.

ok, you people need to get things straight. TMyApp doesn't make his own sprites he gets it off ripping them off from other games such as street fighter alpha 3, sure he changes the colours but that doesn't count as "creating" his own sprite, so a star fox one is a no no. and y_09 dan isn't a shoto, he was kicked out of the school where ryu and ken were, before he finished his training, so he uses capoeira so he isn't a shoto.

I know. That was for the other ppl who are talking about other "Campcom" characters, and stuff. I due time they will come. Til then, LEAVE THEM ALONE.

As for wolverine, i agree with you all the way. Something will happen to him. About other characters, stages, story modes, etc. There could be all the changes in the world. We will just have to wait and see.

I still think it will be less than 2 months. Monst likely (i think) the event will be here before summer. Why i say this? TMy could use a well deserved and relaxing vacation. While we enjoy "The gift of the year". :colgate:

TMyApp likes the marve| chracters more and XMVSSF could have even be called marve| Vs Street Fighter. But one thing for sure is that we'll never have any non sf capcom characters.

Actually, just to clarify something. The game engine is actually based off the marve| vs Street Fighter system. So most of the "moves" and coding are done with THAT particular game in mind.

Extra characters that come from the other series add less than 5% to the main module of the game engine. So games like MvsC, XvsSF, just have a minor part in the whole build up of the game. However, a character in MvsSF DOES have every possibility of coming to this game.

And alamgir, just to make things clear, those are two different games. XvsSF has Storm and Magneto... I don't think MvsSF has Storm... or Magneto :biggrin: ... and XvsSF does NOT have Spiderman, while MvsSF. That's the main reason why I prefer MvsSF to all the other games in the Capcom franchise.

As far as the guesses ya'all have made goes, it seems very interesting to point out that you might not know just how far you are away from the main point... or just how close you are. So before some of you *cough* Dark Paladin *Cough* start dissecting other replies, know that you yourself have NO idea what DWX is going to bring.

But who knows? TMy might make all dark/alternate forms accessible to everyone. It's all up to him.

I know what i said about the dark/alternate forms will possibly be wrong for the new event. I stated that from what i've read on previous SFO events.

Think back to when Ryu, Spidey, Ken, Chun Li, Sentinal, Akuma, and recently Bison's alter ego fell under the rage factor (making them accessible to everyone). Even though i wasn't here for some of those. I was "learning my history".

TMy might do something totally different by making all (including sakura) alter egos accessible to all players. Don't knwo for sure. But that's just some more predicting to do.

The images above were glitches of a unique wolverine when The Dawn of Rage event first began.
Everytime I played storymode I'd see this oddily colored wolverine it would only be shown when I used Onslaught.
Now I believe I understand why at a period of time TMyApp wanted everyone to take screenshots of Onlaught.
He even offered prizes...
I believe he had figured a few glitches would accure.

Will this is one of them..and some time today...

Around 9:48pm eastern standard time I managed to catch eyes on this image.

And you all know how much I enjoy taking screenshots...so this is what accured today.

To me this semi-confirms a connection between Onslaught, and wolverine..that much can be be clearily seen...and the screenshot is not fake......

But to be seroius... the only time I've replied with a "just wait and see synonym" was when/if someone goes over the top postings things that aren't possible... like a whole new game engine.

Heck even the make of SFO, TMyApp didn't change the "main engine" ... just built up on it.

There's also the case of TMyApp making new game servers and tearing down the old "jericho-driven" walls of SFO for new, better, bigger and nano powered ones. I mean... common .. Lol

However, I haven't stopped anyone from making his/her own prediction as to what DWX is about. And trust me, if the mods knew, you won't be able to do anything if we say we did... so in other words, we don't really know. However, it is fun to look, read, laugh, cry and enjoy what some of you have posted about DWX :biggrin:

wasn't NOTS bringing a whole new engine when it came outs, wasn't DOR bringing a whole new design when it came out ? wasn't TLF bringing a whole new dimension when it came out ?

thought i was right about this, every update has brought us a new feature something that changed th eface of the game drastically ! thus yeah its very possible to see a whole new engine in itself ! same goes for the charcaters... it might be as possible for tmyapp to make a character out of nowhere and add it to the already made engine, i seen it a lot of times, and actually there was a new charcater in every single update except for the TLF !

and BTW, TLF took him only 2 months to do and it was made in a hurry when tmyapp suddently had the idea !

3+ years in the making aside from "sub" events. This event is going to make DOR(Dawn of Rage) look like nothing. Besides think of it this way. If someone spent 3+ on one certain thing.... then ofcourse its going to be something big something impossible to do in a very short time period like 8 months. I can make a entire flash game with a decent amount of levels ect.. In about 8-9 months. So I cant wait to see what this Tmyapp has planned. (Even though I really dont play or post, but I still like to see the updates Tmyapp does pretty good and never disappoints)... Every event after today will be side projects for sfo..he had probally day dreamed on......that's probally why he hasn't given plots as before..these were probally things he slept on.


Apocalypse is the only boss I can think of that surpasses....bison....

well i don't know about this but is apocalypse from marve| or from Capcom? cause seeing as the theme is based on DWX, maybe in story mode when your first character is a capcom fighter the end boss will be a marve| character and when you choose a marve| character as your first character then the end boss might be a capcom character..say your fighting with the DWX Wolverine and at the end you have a boss from Capcom say..Sagat for example..then again say you are fighting with Ryu and at the end you have DWX Wolverine to fight..there are so many possibilities.

I remember when everyone was saying "I saw the sentinels flying all over my screen". fliping bullpoop liars.

I am not about to get too hyped over something that might not come. Let's just hope it does come this time.

Here is some things I would hope DWX would bring:

New skin: The XvssF yellowbackground owns the SFO blue background.
Fighting screen: For example, after character selection, it could come out "LancerPX V.S. SSJKarma" with the characters we have chosen. It would look kind of like "Smash bros Melee" type of entrance.
New Top Scores Engine: I am tired of how these ####ies destroyed the top scores engine. I remember a time in 2001, no one in hell would give up free wins. Everyone wanted to get their own freakin rank without help, you ####ies really messed the rank engine.
Lag solutions: As impossible as it sounds, I hope DWX would take out the lag problems. The big problem about it is that this game isn't ran like a rom, so the ping is always going to be as high as it is with 56k users. I don't know what else can be done with the lag.
Joystick/Game controller adapters!: Now TMyApp has been pretty quiet about this, but hopefully he found out a way to work joysticks on the game.

It would be impossible for your names to be added after the character selection screen, the only way this can happen is if after the character selection screen wee see who you have chosen and it has the names at the top on that bar as usual. That would probably be the only way.

but a apocolypse is a possiblity, maybe not for this event, but tmyapp can implement him. he wasn't that hard to beat in MvsSF, and there isn't anything for tmyapp to weaken, he custom makes everything in the game. look at onslaught, onslaught is very different from the one featured in marve| vs. capcom. tmyapp only add his little robot helpers sent has, and then four of his attacks as supers. thats it...

I think that TMyApp will finally unlock the jumping and I'd be able to fly around like Fear_tetsuo did back whenever he was good. Also I believe that TMyApp will add gambit, and he'll start making out with Rogue, then commense to have little Gambits, and Rogues. Now that's just a thought, I'm not for sure. :huh2:

But honestly, I'm one of those people who can't wait for this to come out. It'll be a great advancement in this game from what I've seen, and heard so far. Most likely this change will bring lag, and a few of its friends Mr, and Ms. Bugs, but it'll be a nice change either way, this game hasnt been updated in a while. I also think that more "broken" characters will be put in, the new area of n00bness, but it'll be for the better.

This change will bring forth a sort of joy of sfo that none of us have expirenced. Hopefully it's half as good as TMyApp stated it'll be. It's been 3 years since the annoucement of this and it's finally almost here, we're only months away.

It's possible, but i doubt TMy would give our hopes up by giving us some indication that it's coming soon, and in the next few months, but i'm trying not to think about it.

Alamgir: Not a chance in HELL. This has been "in the works" ... that is, it was already being implemented since the very day TMyApp started announcing it in the forum.

And for the blokes who were talking about "new NWOs" ... get a hint from SBYRD5's reply; there won't be any new ones for a very long time. Too many power hungry brits going around killing ppl these days... so we've gotta take some precautions.

Necro: It's only fair to say that being a shockwave game that this is, when adding humungous changes to the game such as this, you'd have to inevitably expect bugs, here and there. And that's why after every "new release" in the game. TMyApp releases ANOTHER one in a few hours, to at least fix/patch any loose bugs here and there and some minor glitches.

If TMyApp were to start fixing every single bug/glitch in the game, we'd probably have no new event for about 2 - 2.5 years. Cause the only ones you might notice are those ones that hinder your blocking... but from what he's told me, the bugs are actually deeply rooted than you can think of. That's why it seems logical that we move on with the game for now

Until we're at a "good" spot... where stories and events can be built upon with the characters that we have... rather than having to add a new feature/character ... then we can start worrying about decade old bugs and his great grand children.

Any character added to a game... no matter the "awesomeness of his ever growing" power.. HAS to be defeatable to make the game fun. Just like the guy in MSH (marve| Super Heroes) with the Thanos rings... I always thought he was undefeatable until My Captain America took him out :biggrin:

So no matter what character you might see in DWX... no matter the level of his power in the series or what have you; it will always be at one point defeatable.

LancerPX: You do realize that your "lag solutions" expectation is virtually unrealistic. You've gotta understand what lag is TOTALLY, before you start putting the blame on SFO and it's need to fix "the lag" in the game. I don't want to go into details, but if you wish... I'd do it :biggrin:

Well, from my research in the DWX chronicals i have found out that there is a telepathic mutant and a female mutant that are being trained with weapon X and that both are strong. Well there are only a few telepathic mutants...and the telepath may not be Jean Grey, it may be a male and the other female mutant, at first i thought it would have been Rogue, but she join TLF...but then maybe she was a spy withing TLF for Weapon X...who knows...personally i think maybe Psylocke, she is psychic and she is strong...so perhaps.

I believe we WILL get a new, playable character. Such a big event not only calls for, but deserves a new character. A VIP-only form? I'm not sure, maybe if Wolverine has a new form, that VIPs will get it first, and norms will have to get rage to use it.

Sagat would make a good playable character. Charlie would make a nice character if we could get him. But then, Guile should be released after him.

Jean is a telepath. But proffessor X was as well. I do believe there is another telepath that i can't remember right now. Though, Prof X could be added, i just doubt it.

Well Onslaught is almost unstoppable in the comics but in the game he's pretty much quite the opposite so I don't think moves should be too much of a problem. She won't have to have moves which involve telepathy like moving ur opponent on the screen, she could have say a move which looks like she throws bricks with her mind yet it'll be no different than a hadoken except only in appearence. Who knows she might even be added as the phoenix if she's added.

but non the less i was always thrown off bye the apperence of iceman in the character selection screen... and the fact that on nosoul's site there was the "? ?? ?" for a character ... but its apparent that ofcourse there will be an update for wolverine and cyclops and of course teaks to sakura venom and a few other adjustments to other minor details to the game... and the question wich is in the greatest limbo is a new character release......

so who it would it be and what role they would play is pretty questionable ... i mean jean gray of all ppl? doubt it... but hey gambit's been in rumors and of course who can forget the "questions" and "information" bison sought out on Spiral.... and then theres the the whole character selection screen ... i mean why add ppl if youwill never use them?

Spiral we already have helper's wise ! she teleports you to the other side of the screen but people think she's useless because she do not throw anything nor dash thru the screen !

as for gambit, i doubt him to have anything about DWX.
anyway... jean grey cannot be in this game the only game in which she was was in >MUTANT ACADEMY 2 on PSX which is a 3D game which 3D characters cannot be taken for this game thus i doubt her to ever be in this game !

anyway don't put an image of the DWX CHRONICLES directly, just link to it ok !

yes he would but seeing as he is a helper he may not be upgraded, to a player yet or ever,
as for teleporting or what ever... ''nightcrawler'' comes to mind... but as karma has said

I don't think Sagat would become a playable character yet. Since we are still in TLF. They might be carried into DWX. Aftyer which, is when i think he would be turned into a playable character.

But i think it's still a good idea.

he was first a helper then became a playable character and still can be used as a helper, so theres nothing to say TMyApp can't do it, its just a question of is he willing to do it

ahhhh very true very true indeed, but also wasnt bison released as a helper under the pretense that he was going to be released as a character?

but i ws making the point that sagat is TLF helper not a normal helper. so u would be fighting with 2 sagats at once where as if youused bison and the bison helper the helper is only on the screen momentaraly where as sagat is a character u can control.

Technically not. Sagat was playable in Street Fighter 2 Turbo. I kno, cuz i had the game. I still think that was one of the best SF games :biggrin:
