ppl think that throwing is truly different than a regular or projectile attck, but its the same. Its like an opponent doing a really long hit animation that sends them across the screen. You know how the chars recoile in pain after being hit by a hadoken or whatnot? That automatic "recoiling" is like the part where the opponent gets thrown/slammed in a "grab" move (but obvously, as said, the lag makes it impossible to really tell where your opponent is). But, hey, if we voted for a character based on throws/grabs, its always possible to make him, only it would be frustrating to play with him/her.
