Only "UP TO 20 YEARS IN PRISON"!? Forget that! Death row should be considered! Cut off a man's soul and you're taking a man's life.

that so stupid...you have the RIGHT to do anything possible for self defense...sure it was her EX-BF but what if it was a serial killer who would eventually would kill her after raping her?

How are they gonna try and give her time for self-defence. That's soo bull.

Sometimes i wonder. How much the justice system works (i say that in overall, not just the US, since i'm Canadian).

Something is wrong when someone is punished for defending his/herself.

On the positive side, we likely won't rape another person ever again.

Well if it was in self defence, than the guy deserves it. If she did that to him later on and not when she was being raped then thats a different story.
