Stem cell research can help alot with research for curing diabetes, paralysis, and a number of other diseases regarding re-growth of cells that have died of that are damaged, and different types of research are taking place investigating new cures for all sorts of diseases such as nasal sprays that can apparantly reproduce insulin cells in the pancreas, which can help repriduce insulin cells that ''could'' help the pancreas re function once again,

There is always something new out its just to do with testing it and seeing if it is sustainable, and if it can work without any awkward after effects.....

I just recenty read in the paper that curry is considered a cure for cancer, (the british media comes out with all sorts of ''odd'' info at times)

Herbal supplements aren't really as reliable as lets say
antibiotics to cure lets say cold, but a down side to herbal medicines is that if it were to be mass produced it would result in destroying rainforests, i mean how do you think the natives of the amazon rainforest for example deal with illness, they would use natural and herbal remedies, now if that were to be implanted upon the world it would end up cleaning out the rainforests and there would be less crop that can be used to create these ''special remedies'',

However the herbal medicines at times are stronger and quicker at curing certain pains or diseases, but i guess it all comes down to whether you would be willing to experiment and see what suits you best, if you are willing to try it then it could work for you, if not stick to the doctors, and prescribed drugs
