Why didn't capcom....

lets say that it is not difficult to know why they putted zangiefs in !

he was in the original game and has some way really original moves ! lets also say that it isn't true that no one ever use the wrestler ! i do use him and my friends does too, even thoo we are able to pull one moves out of 20 we do use him ! lots of people are like that. they play with chars then on the next fight they used others and so on, never using the same chars twice.

zangief, he isn't very fast, but he sure packs some power when he gets you. he has lots of thing that other don't. feilong, in my opinion, is a rip-like characters of ryu and ken.

EXAMPLE:
1 - his RAISING DRAGON KICK
2 - his fighting style (i know it's not shoto but there is something that remember me of ryu and ken)
3 - his throws

i know there are lots of other like that, megaman do have some upercut specials. cammy has it's own style, but still ! T-Hawk has a very unique style, but he is so hard to play ! DeeJay, now he has great skills and could have come to lots of things, but no... he resemble BALROG too much, except that he use his kicks !

i must agree on what you said... but they simply couldn't put every chars in, and they made a choice.
it,s probably nothing more than that !

PS:
have you thought about the fact that the creators of the game could have loved zangief more than any other chars ?
