Why ken?

I know they were probably the easiest to add, but c'mon, what about Charlie, or Gambit? Why not just make the Ryu thats in marve\| vs Capcom, ya know, the one who can change into akuma or ken. Then we could get more different characters instead ofupgrades of the original.
