beta.. yes.. thats right.. JUST a beta... thus, judge it as such
now.. where to start ... 1st, some info that no one cares about... i have been up most of the night, yesterday and this morning working on the "semi-l8te" release... and it is finaly... somewhat playable...right now, i'd have to say that the 4 player/Tag mode is running at about 30%... still WAY too many features and tweaks are missing (but dont worry... as said b4... most will be added over the next week or two.. so.. just hang in there) ... there is a huge need for a "help" section on all of the new features, but, if u are an arcade buff... u should know them all by now: TAG: P3 + K3 (10+ seconds delay) CROSSOVER: DOWN, FORWARD + P3 + K3 (level 2) VARIABLE: DOWN, BACK + P3 + K3 (level 3) the little red letters at the top mean: JL: Jump Lock (you will not be able to super-jump) H: you cannot ask your parner to help you (see below) T: you cannot tag your parner the "parner help" option has been disabled for this version, but, it will probably be back by the end of next week (which will let you call on your partner, and have them do any move of their choice) for best performance, stick to 1 on 1 tag... anything above and your just asking to "debug" oh.. and one last thing, make SURE no members of your team as set as "observers"... that option has been disabled, but may still cause problems if someone tries to use it (again, wait till the end of next week) feel free to change "lag-compensation" to different settings (now set to "med" by default) .. what will it do ?? who knows... well.. i'm off to get some rest... and DO go easy with the bitchin.. eh ?? ... ID may have a huge debugging team to help them make bug-free releases, but sure as #### we dont... thus, ya'all have to debug for me... but, in the end.... *cough* well.. anyhow  |
