Zangief... the possibilities... - How he would be compatible to sfo

Many of you think "Zangief! Oh god, he sucks! All his moves are grabs! And with this lag he wouldn't have any place in SFO and if he did he would suck!"

We are all forgetting that TMyApp has the power to tweak these characters to his bidding.

Here is a list of what TMyApp could do to Zangief to make him one of the powerhouses of SFO...

1. To get rid of his grabbing problems with all this lag, they could work as the raging demon! He could have a level 1 grab, and stronger level 2 grab, and super powerful level 3 grab! You would execute them as you would a raging demon (and have three different button combinations for each level grab so you have to remember them in order to be a good Zangiefuser).

Everyone knows how Zangief, when he executes his grab specials, walks a few steps and has to grab a hold of you. Well, when you execute his special grab, he could walk a few steps and be able to grab you no matter what (like the raging demon!). And just like the raging demon, the only way you would be able to stop Zangief's special grab would be to shoot a projectile at him or do a combo special (ex. wolver

Zangief is awesome and after seeing what TMyApp did with Ken anything is possiable.

I like the 360 rotation thing still Restavega....

Wait doing 360 rotations aint that hard with keys.

I had no idea TMyApp would be capable of what he is now when I said Zangief would suck in the past.

wow restavega can you imagine HOW MUCH WORK THAT WOULD BE for TMyApp to do? it would probably take him a year... i mean 6 months for a character plus his moves and etc... i doubt he could unless he post and said he can...

omg this is a great idea! even tho i dont like zangeif that much on the streetfighter games i like to use him on mvc2 lol i would love to see him throw sentinel :biggrin:..but on the other hand tmyapp has already completed zangeif hes 5% finished if youlooked at the percentages on the character vote..so if he didnt already do all of that he would have to start over =/

I know that but considering he would have three specials for each level (according to the Zangief I mentioned) and since his grab is like the RD's, they'll be room for improvement and practice if you had the move performed by a button sequence (you would have to remember all the button combinations for each level with Zangief).

but then again, if we did have it the original way, (360 degree rotation) it could just be 360 with punches and for level 2, 360 with kicks, and for level 3, 360 with 1/start button.

Will u STFU! I hate it when people say things like that if Zangief showed as 99% of course he will take longer than other charcters to put in!

tmyapp said it himself, grabs will be implemented when zangief will be voted for !

he won't change the wrestling man to a kickboxer or another type of boxing just because the lag would come in and ruin it !

as for zangief being sucking a lot... well maybe not int he hands of those capable of doing his moves better then i am, but really... i like to call him, mister do nothing ! cause i can't seem to do anything else then spinning lariat with him ! otherwise i am forced to jump and do the moves so i can do the upper arrows without actually see the char jumping like a stupid monkey on a stupid cocaine trip !

:laugh: Um I hate to say it but Zangief WOULDNT HAVE A PRAYER VS ANY SFO CHARACTER. Imagine Akuma's Raging Demon as a "GRAB". Everyone one of Zangief's attacks would be SUPER SLOW AND GRABS. One Hadoken, Web-ball ect... would cancel out his most power-full moves. Not counting helpers. Most of all a "GRAB" type character IN LAG is IMPOSSIBLE to play with. By the way Vote for Charlie.
