-= NEW WEB HOST NEEDED =- - (more info inside)

We are currently looking for a new web host (dedicated 1mbit+ upstream connection with a static IP) which would handle all of the download traffic for the Shockwave interface (a 3 meg download). Anyone who is will to provide the bandwidth, please contact: xvssf@cyberfuturism.com for further info.

We really need someone who can handle MORE than 25 simultaneous connections @ 10k each (preferably)

It is a lot, i know... but, the current hosting company just put a max on our account preventing a LOT of the people from playing the game. We had no warning, and it seems that when u pay for "unlimited bandwidth" it REALLY means there is a limit :biggrin:

On average week we get between 10,000 and 20,000 unique hits (@ 3+ megs each), so asking someone to host is asking quite a bit.

Still, if u would like to help our non-profit game, give either me or leftyfb a shout

I hate to say this but ever think of maybe adding alittle advertising on the web page? I mean maybe you could get an ISP interested in hosting it pro-bono if you advertised for them. You do get a ton of hits, so whichever ISP hosted you would get alot of exposure. Just a thought.

no advertising... EVER ... i'll sell one of my livers to keep this thing up b4 we see adds in the game !!! :biggrin:
