Is heaven a legend
Something for us to believe in

Or do you ignore me by choice

Hear so many stories about the man walking on water
Tell me where is he now that people are being slaughtered
Serial killers running the night
Everyone running in fright
And the years slipping by so fast
People don't even have a chance to gasp
Tell me is the bible real
Or is it something that the priest sells to buy a meal
It speaks of the savior coming back
Yet no one knows for a fact

God, I pray to you asking you questions
Yet you don't feel my tensions
Is your phone off the hook
What? You don't got time for this crook
I know I haven't read the good book
