Is it just me or do Ryu/Ken/Gouki's Down+Hard Punch (air combo start) have more range in the Marvel Vs Capcom series than in the arcade X-Men Vs Street Fighter? I can never get the Down+Hard Punch to link on from the light kick sweep unless my opponent is in the corner!
Can anyone validate this?

I can't answer you question, b/c I don't play video games outside of this one.

but just to let you know, we don't have air combos, or for that matter any "real" combos in this game. Mostly b/c of lag.

Ahh... finally, someone with intellegence(no offense to the community).

Yeah Ryu's crouching fierce seems to have a bit more range, I'm not sure why, I can't say much. But he does have more range than in other versions.

i think that Ryu was tweaked for the Marvel Vs Capcom games. As for the air combos, there was the option to do them in early games like SF2, but they seem to have never been implemented in the online version of XMvSF or they have, but lag stops anything that is seemingly close to it. :angryfire:

actually in this game there is a small air combo. to pull it off u need to uppercut your opponent. then super jump and let the havoc begin. but you can only do a maximum of 3 hits ???

Is it just me or is it in the air you seem to be most vulnerable?
