Yo can anynone helpp me - I need major help

can anyone help me that evr had this problem where the sfo screem is mess up like this becuz when i launch sfo evrytime the intro movi finish it looks like this and i can't play the game can anyone tell me how to fix this or do i need a upgrade on something and can u tell me wat i need to start making this play again

If that the downloaded version then try to redownload them again. If you still having problem. Remove shockwave and reinstall it

I have had my share of problem's so I know this answer.
I just need a better description hmm...
Check to see that you downloaded shockwave.
If you didn't download but when you come to this game.

It automatically does it for you.
As well did you clear your cache before this.
Go to internet tool clear everything off line content.
Then check your security computer options.
*Sigh*Long process.Then load the game again.

It should work in case it stop's a certain percentage.
Then continue to reload your game for the internet explorer.
I hope that any of this has helped you in any.

The download version of the game isn't working
This could be a number of things:
1. make sure you have all of the .dll files, if you do, then...
2. re-download them all again, including the .exe files.
3. Having a pop up blocker may cause the problem, try disabling it then trying the game.
4. If all else fails....use the web version.

You can't host
If you are unable to host, this means;
1. You are behind a firewall
2. You are on a router
If so, you have 0 chance of hosting.[/colorost_uid6]

alright... looks like things got even worse (once again)... the web space providers that we are using are tweaking our accounts so that the game loading times seems to get slower and longer with each day (even on fast connections)

the other day it took me 5 minutes to get a 300 game module on a dsl connection (something that normally takes 2 seconds)

in anycase... since we can't solve the server problems (over night) here are some solutions:

ifu'r stuck @ the loading screen (and can't even get the "ok" button to continue) and the game "just sit there"... first thing, check ifu'r modem is working... (are you sending information back and forth ?? ie: are the two "modem lights" in the bottom right of the screen beside the clock blinking ??) if so... just... give it some time time.... if not, CLOSE the window, and try to load the game once again)

i think i forgot to mention this in the past... but the game will auto-append the download (on most computers).... so if youget some of the game loaded... it stops... just re-open the game window to "append the download"

same goes for when you are out of the "loading" screen, and are in chat or the main menu... if the game's loading bar just "sits there" (@ 70%+) ... check the modem... ifu'r sending information... good... just wait.... if it doesn't seem like it is doing anything for 10min+ (or u'r not sure).... close the window and press the "mirror1" button once again....

now.. the "browser cache" problem... YES i've asked all of you to "clear u'r cache" to fix these types of problems"... HOWEVER... you probably don't need to keep on doing it over and over again.... if you just CAN'T seem to get the game no matter how many times you try to load it... fine.... clear u'r cache... ONCE... then keep on trying...

if you keep on clearing the cache after ever time you close the game, you won't be able to "append the download" ... so u'll just keep going through the loop of gettin' some 70% of the game over and over again (forever)....

soo... clearing u'r cache helps... but DONT' do it every time the loading bar stops and u close the game window... and ifu'r not sure how, here are the exact instructions on how to do it in Internet Explorer (IE):

1: go to "tools" and "internet options"
2: in there, u'll see a "delete files" button, press it...
3: a new window will pop-up with a "delete all offline content" check box... CHECK IT... and press "ok"
4: u'r done

... now... it may also help a LOT of you to setting u'r borwser to "save u'r cache" ... this will mean that when you get the game ONCE.. it will stay on u'r hard disk.. and you will NOT need to re-download it over and over again.... and here is how you do it in IE:

1: go to "tools" and "internet options" (once again)
2: in there, u'll see a "settings..." button.. press it...
3: at the top, where it says: "check for newer versions of stored pages"... that should be set to "Automatically" or "Never"... if it is set to "Automatically" and the browser still makes you re-download the game every time, set it to "Never"
4: at the bottom of the same window you'll see a slider for: "amount of disk space to use"... make sure that is set to 100mb+ ... if 100mb doesn't seem to help the problem, set it to 200mb+
5: hit "ok"... and u'r done

i hope this helps a few people... for the hopeless ones for whom nothing seems to work... my advice is to grab the "downloadable" version of the game... and for those who did it and you can't seem to sign-in with your l/p... well... just wait... i'll fix the prob as soon as i can.[/colorost_uid6]

ive had that same problem.. its called, well i named that bug, THE GREY SCREEN (i was the first ever to post about this bug so i think i deserve to name it).... want to know the way i fixed it? its called reformatting... which sucks cause u lose all ur programs... And since i got the bug first.. i got my own fixes


If you get errors such as svchost.exe errors.. then that means u have a mblaster worm which affects many things on ur comp when u are connected online... so u will have to get and download the fixes from http://www.microsoft.com

another thing i've noticed if youhave an Internet Accelerator downloaded on your computer then u are gonna have to uninstall the accelerator because most accelerators only work when u have the images in an infared form.... so this can have an effect on the colors of the game... uninstall the accelerator and then delete the temporary files...

then i want u to download this program that deletes all history in the internet cache and history on ur whole damn computer.. u will still have saved programs and documents tho... its called Window Washer.. u can get the 30 day trial in http://www.webroot.com.. install the program.. open the program.. press *Wash Now* and u will see it perform and wash alot of things from ur local disk... it should even clean alot ofur local disk dramatically...

then after that if you got shockwave 10 u should downgrade to shockwave 8.5... shockwave 10 got some errors on the game...

redownload the game with ur normal internet connection speed... and thats it...

noene of this is not working for me cuz of some prbs but since i have 2 comps i just use the other on and use this one just for searching the web
