Tournament of Champions II - Time to get the word out

Well the first tourney is in the books, and im starting work on the second one.

The rules and such will be announced later.
The only reason im giving you the heads up is because the next one is coming much sooner than you'd think :biggrin:
and this time I need to make sure you know when it is!

Those of u with a "sharp eye" will have already visited the website for touranemnt of champions II, and will see the work in progress for it. (gotta love the hidden features of my website) :biggrin:

anyway...back to the tournament.
the rules and the way the tournament is set up will be substancially different then the one just concluded.

Thats why I can tell you there is NO SIGN up in the forum, or on the website.

You will register in a much different way this time, and because of that I doubt there will be any DQ'es or byes!

I'm not fully prepared to announce how it will be hosted UNTIL TMyApp tells me he will give me a prize for a tournament of 64 plyrs :biggrin:

All that I can tell you so far, is that this one will be double elimination (gotta lose twice!!).
And that it is restricted to the TOP 64 plyrs who register.
It will NOT be a best of 5 matches..thats been reduced to a best of 3.

I can honestly tell you that this time around, the time you have to put in is going to get cut SUBSTANCIALLY!!!
I can also tell you that you wont have to worry about sending emails to anyone, or worrying about receiving them..

just trust me when I say, this is going to be alot more like any tournanment you've seen in real life, then anything that has come before (including the one I just hosted)

I've learned from the mistakes of the first tournament (mine, and yours), and I think I've got a way to get rid of all the problems we encountered with this one.

Hopefully TMyApp will sign off on a prize for 64 plrys, because I can honestly tell you there's no way I can do it with anymore ppl then that..how bout it bud?:biggrin:
