Gifs on the background - Help plz

ive got an Akuma gif where he does Reging Demon....how do i put it on the background so he will do the same tin..but only on the background...i tried Image Ready..and everytime i add the first move he does...it add this move to a single Frame i made...or i dont do it right..PLZ HELP

Well for that sorta thing i use animation shop... but i'll try and help you.
Ive never done gifs in banner's in imageready but, from experience try and :

Open up the gif in image ready,
Transfer your banner from PS to image ready, so you have 2 things open,
copy the banner layer, and put it behind the first layer on the first frame of the gif animation,
...make sure that the banner will fit tho...

I tried that but it started lagging when i played the game.
