A new banner - Rate

I haven't made a banner for such a long time, and bear in mind i'm still new at the business but anyway here it is. I got help from VF's tutorial too. And please I only want rates from people who know what they're saying and can make their own banners. I also would like to know what i can do to improve my banners.

Damn, oh wel looks like i gotta hell of a lot more to learn. How can I improve on it?

Vf tut looks good with scanlines.. i can give u scanlines if youwant..

here just copy paste this over yah banner lower the opacity and you will see the effect..

Alright i'll see what happens thanx. And estest they dont look that similar ya know. Just cos they're the same colours.
