Marvel vs capcom 2 tournament

Alright i am just making this post to let anyone who plays mvc2 and is near the area to attend Wisconsins TST4 tournament this month. I have talked to TarkanX and he said that he might come down for it with some other people from MN. But we are for sure gonna have a bunch of very good people attending this tournament such as: juicy g, floe,kapkom(famous anakaris/storm/sonson), dereklearnslow,madbooface, MikeZ, and many others. Basically everyone from chicago will be coming and we should be getting some randon people from other places as well. Well here is all the info if you are interested:

Wisconsin's TST4 Final Update

When: November Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th 2002, Everything will begin at 12 noon on friday.

Place: Aladdin's Castle, 4200b Milwaukee, WI 53220. On the corner of 76th and Coldspring in the Pick a Slave Plaza.

Tournaments:

-MvC2 (Friday)
-3's (Friday)
-Tekken Tag (Friday) ??Console??
-CvS2 (Sat) Console
-SC2 (Sat)
-Tekken4 (Sat)

Entry Fee:

Entry fee will be $10 dollars a person per game entered.
Fees must be taken at time of sign up
Must be signed up 15 mins before the toyurney begins.

Prizes:

1st Place 70%
2nd Place 20%
3rd Place 10%

Bracket format:

2/3 for all regular matches
3/5 for winners finals and Losers finals
4/7 for Final Match

Rules:

No game breaking glitches
(T4) All Arena
Winner Keeps same team/character
No Call in Sign ups

yeah, i def. would but im in NY. but hey, sounds real competitvie this time. I've seen kapkom in action, and man, what a team!! That's one way to spot skill: sonson, anakaris, and storm totally humiliating what I thought was a real good opponent. This other guy had some pretty good combos with magneto/cable/cammy (obviously not an orig, team tho). I guess thats why he got whooped, he used the same char. that most other ppl use. Watch for sonson's fruit special, he finds the weirdest ways to get it to connect.

Yeah the tourney should be big. We just had a lock-in(all games were on free play the whole night) last night that lasted till 5 in the morning today. We had like 4 ppl from chicago come up:dereklearnslow,pikachamp,tonyk, and someone else. We had like a 20 or 30 person bracket for mvc2 last night so out big TST4 tourney should be even bigger then our lock in. And we might even get the famous Ducvader to come to our tournament.Well i just thought i would spread the word.

one of my best team is... 3x SERVBOT <---- i'm serious, i almost beaten my friend with em !

but to be honest, i wouldn't fight with them...
i would prolly fight with the same team as my friend does !
HULK, DR DOOM, JUGGERNAUGHT

i mean this team HYPER is un-dodgeable !
you have no choice but to block it !
here is why...

** starting simulation **
- dr doom on screen and start the 3x hyper
- dr doom throws his beam
- opponent jump over
- juggernaught head crush to the person on ground
- hulk start his gamma crush
- opponent get hit down by hulk gamma crush
- opponent end up being hit by hulk gamma crush, drdoom and juggy
- opponent has no way to avoid !
** end of simulation **

that is his perfect team !
even if the person jumps in the air, HULK gamma crush bring him back in the others.
and if juggy hit him, it throws him up into hulk hyper. it's a great team but it must be perfected as i am not very great with juggy. my friend is !

anyway, too bad you won't see me there !
of course if anyone can pay me the trip all the way there from QUEBEC, i would gladdly enter in it !
