ok, my idiot brother did sumthing to the god damn computer cause his laptop wouldnt send out e-mail, hookin in that mini harddrive thing in the USB port on the back. and there are none on the front so dont ask me. now i keep getting this error message when i turn it on:

windows could not start bacause the following file is missing or corrupt:
windows root>\system32
toskrnl.exe.
please reinstall a copy of the above file.

and worst, the machine doesnt want to read my XP reformat disc, what should i do? and all i want is a step by step solution, dont come in here and feed me useless BS
