Dvd's being re-released over and over again

ost_uid2]Why every time I buy a DVD the special edition comes out the next week. For example I purchased the rocky collection a year ago, and now there remaking the rocky collection again remastered. So does that mean when they released it the first time they said were not going to put the best quality in there because we want to sell it again? What is this all about how many people have noticed this ripoff that's occuring with dvd's?[/color

its because the company wants to make as much money as they can. its not necessarily better qaulity but the extra stuff that you end paying 10 bucks extra for. I see this happening with disney all the time. It seems like they remaster one of their greats and add stupid games... Seems like disney is losing alot of money...

I hate that, Kinseb. They did that with the Rambo collection, too. They rereleased the Rambo collection three times on DVD... c'mon now. That's what I call milkin' it.

lol, Watcha gonna do? It's retarded I know, but if you think about it, they make A LOT of money this way. And why shouldn't they really? As long as people are buying the same movies over and over companies will keep coming out with new DVD's. No one is making you buy them. :

Okay, back on topic.

They can keep rereleasing them but why can't they get it right the first time? They add more special features with another release when they could've done that with the first special edition. Jeeze, these distributors need to be patient so they nail it on the head the first time.

well the reason why they dont release everything at once is because the technology... back in the ninteen nighty's vhs was the standard video format... when dvds first came out there wasnt many exceptional things that came with but now their is... just buy a dvd on the movie and not the extra bs
