Help with links and images - This is important please help

Firstly I have to say, I have already read the general forum faq at the top of this thread and it did help me to a certain extent; about posting images and links on the forum.

but i have been trying to post some images and links on this forum but it does not work.

The image either appears as a red X on a blank white page;
the image appears as if it is going to load, but stops and turns to another red X on a blank white page.

The links usually come up with "page cannot be displayed", i have tried posting these images and links on other forums and they work perfectly.

anybody help me please on how to solve this?

the following are examples of problem that I am experiencing:

SFO PICTURE POSTED ON FORUM:
this was done by simply clicking the "image" button whilst creating a post and then the link in between.

This one was done by the way I read on the general forum faq:

cimg src="http://img50.exs.ck/img50/6429/sfo6sx.jpg" width="384" height="224" align="center" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us">

You see where the c is at the start "cimg" that should be c but it dont work, i tried putting it in but it automatically changes itself from c back to c.

SFO LINK TO PICTURE:
this is simply a direct link to the picture that I coped and pasted in to the forum:

http://img50.exs.ck/my.php?loc=img50&image=sfo6sx.jpg

You see where it says exs.ck
that k should be an x, as that is what it is in the actual working link, but when i copy and paste to this forum and post, it automatically changes itself to k.

please help me with this problem.

never mind this has been fixed, i will close this topic.

the problem was that imageshack.us arnt a good imae hoster for this forum, so i registered and used www.photobucket.com
