hey poeple i need some help when i try joining a server it says taht my ip or port is wrong but it lets me in the chat rooms and lets me pick the serv i want to go on but it wont let me in the server,
help..... ???

well you might be behind a firewall or the game doesn't detect your IP correctly(if you have dialup and you got disconnected your IP has changed)so try typing in AUTO for IP in options and if you are behind a firewall then check old connection mode under network in options

I dont know if this will work for you becuase i have Widnows XP.

Open up your control panel.

Click network and internet connections.

Click network connections

Click propteries on each of your internet connections.
(Right click)

Select the Advaced tab and then un check the part where it says Internet Connection Firewall.

Do this to all of your internet connections and your firewall should be turned off. But im not sure if this is for other computers who are not running Windows Xp.

well that's a softeware firewall..i'm guessing his is a HARDWARE firewall...
