I cant seem to connect to any game so i'm asking if routers are in the way or not. if they are then tell me what ports to forward.

um.. you cant host if you have a Router. However, you should be able to join games and accept challenges :biggrin:
Also, you could try to work around it by providing the correct IP in the Options menu (inside the game).. just click Network after you click Options :biggrin: If you need more info, go to the link below: http://www.streetfighteronline.com/f...net/index.html --nuff said! Actually....
Your router is blocking connections for the port you are using.. In most cases, the problem you have can never be solved. Believe me, I've tried every method.. You can try port forwarding for port 1626 ( or whatever port you are using ). but that has not worked for anyone yet.. In other words.. You can't play the game with people. You can still enjoy story mode though... ( I know I can explain this better .. I just haven't been needing my router for a while and forgot a few details.. but that's the main point. ) Edited By akuma_forever on July 14 2004 at 01:53 |
