Yo someone help me out im using Verizon DSL service and i cannot host, and i cannot join without checking the last box under netork on sfo which is old connection and it is annoying me. i am using windows 98 so some1 plz help me out

in options is the firewall option checked do u have some program that has firewall?

im not sure and i dont have firewall checked on sfo

Um... If you have a router, you will "not" be able to "host" games, but you should be able to join

Try going
here for your Firewall Problems and then see If you can join

Shut off/disable your firewall, as well as any realtime antivirus scanware that you may be running. (they will just make your game laggy, and make it so you can not connect to people)

If your on a router...disable that too.

also make sure to read the entire SFO FAQ
http://streetfighteronline.com/faq/
..there is a 99% chance that it will contain the cure for what ails you.

If your on a highspeed ISP..they may have you on a router.
Try contacting your ISP and asking if they have you on a router.
If they say yes they have use routers for the clients, try requesting that they remove you from their routing system.
...or try getting a different ISP.
