Whenever I start my home computer (oh, this has NOTHING to do with XMVSF, by the way...) I get an error that my crashguard assistant picks up...
OleMainThreadWndName has caused a crash trying to access index.dat in my cookie folder, and in my iexplore/history/ folder. Yeah, I know, more details are needed... bu I left the #### things at home (not my day...) ALSO Nestcape, iexplore, and opera (all latest versions) don't work - thye crash upon trying to access the internet. That is, Opera still gives me the "Choose your screen" message... then on trying to access its home page, crashes. I installed opera after ie and nestscape went down, but I think something doesn't like me accessing the cable modem. Oh, the error message for ie was that it tried to access some dll file - MS4d.dll, or something bloody close... I can't remember the netscape/opera errors. Anyway, ANY help would be greatly appreciated... I know this isn't the place to post, but I really don't know where to go for errors like this... Google was no bloody help at all. And yeah, tomorrow (on coming to uni again) I'll post all the details here! Ciao! |
