TMy:
About a month ago some one asked if they could zip up the D/L version of the game...your reply was.."Ok just make sure to link back to Projectx."

Well recently (yesterday) I had to reinstall the entire D/L version of the game.
During this process I noticed that most of the files for the D/L are originating from the same source.
Because of this...I was wondering..
"Why havent you zipped these files to compress them,to shorten D/L time,as well as lessen data transfer?"

This would make our "lazy","scared",and "new" members who refuse to get the D/L because it "looks" like a "hassle". More likely to download it.

As the game expands over the next year and more characters are introduced into the enviroment. The list of character .cct files is going to get very intimidating to newer members and less and less people will opt to use the D/L version of the game.

Tweek updates to the D/L could still be handled the way they currently are...Except that for people getting the D/L for the first time...they would only need to download the one zip file for the game...and then get and extract the patchs when needed via a link that lead the user to the current D/L webpage with what ever comments and intructions needed for patching/updating their D/L

When and IF projectx gets more "friend" servers helping the project. You could then offer "mirrors" to getting the zipped d/l version of the game.
