yes, what i mean is:

Xbox: good at hardware
PS2: good games
GC: ?

i just don't see what is so good about GC. it's sort of like a balance between the two. not bad games, not bad hardware, but not exactly "greatest".

SSJkarma: xbox does not have the best games, PS2 does, this isn't about what your "opinion" is. this is the general opinion shared by a majority of the population. go and look at the top selling games, the most highly rated games and the most anticipated are MOSTLY PS2 games.

u ppl juss dont understand, #1 gamecube and xbox both came out a year after, so that is y they have sum better hardware. and #2 u have to play the system and not juss look at all the hardware crap, i have played all 3 systems, b4 i bought my ps2, and id say, wit all dat hardware crap dat xbox has, it's horrible, aside from splinter cell, its not that good at all, as for gc its not dat bad either, but wen i played the ps2, i was blown away, everything was great aside from da 2 controller ports, and thats y i decided to buy my ps2!!!

look at it the right way...
what BEST SELLING GAMES ?
metal gear solid 2 ?
we now have it on XBOX...
the FF SERIES, well, it has really fallen short because it is all repetitive !
who wants 3xx games of the same series anyway ?

tell me the GAMES that are suppose to be the best...
because for what i saw at the TV, the reviews, and everythings, including what my friends told me. XBOX DOES have LOTS of GOOD games too !

believe me, all you want are GREAT GAMES, well you won't find DOA3 on PS2. thats one reason to get it.
MGS2 now is on XBOX, why would i by a PS2 for it ?
BRUCE LEE is exclusive XBOX, why would i buy a console for a game that isn't even on it ?
HALO, its a damn great game !
GOTHAM RACING, even tho i don't like RACING games, its one of the best i've seen ! graphically and playability !
LOTR: two towers... well i'll got it on XBOX too !

see all games i need or that are great on PS2 are almost all coming too XBOX too !
like rocky said, its normal for a console to have about 1000 games compare to two systems that came out a year after. but let me get this straight, on more then 200games on XBOX, there is none you like ?

PS2 wasn't good at first too you know...
they had like 25 games when it came out.
were they all good ? i think not !

all i want is you giving cvredits where its due, XBOX is a damn good system, has lots of games for it, has lots of good ones too. now deal with it.

before you say so, i'm not saying i would buy XBOX because its the only system good for me, i said it was a better system and has good games. its the same for all systems. even the DC is almost equal to those 3 console !

like skate said, they have their good and worst part, now don't say PS2 is all good and the rest are sucking hard, because those kind of post are just making me think you love the PS2 because it was there before all others !

take a good look and you'll see lots of PS2 games but barely any xbox games.

and most of those games you said have been released for PS2 FIRST, and then ported to the other consoles. by then, time would have changed and many people will lose interest in the games. and better games will have come out by the time they finally port old games to the other consoles.

and go look up these games on gamespy/gamespot or any respectable gaming magazine and you'll see that they are rated as being very good:

GTA3/Vice City
Final Fantasy X
Socom
Thievieus Racconaus
Ratchet & Clank
Onimusha 2
Tekken 4
Kingdom Hearts

yes, it is true, that xbox also has some good games, but PS2 has more

when was the last time you checked a GAMING SITE and see the ratings of the games ?

because i have seen as much games on PS2 and xbox getting 9/10 for their rating, and thats about 400 persons per games that actually gave a rating so it is an average.

SELLING CHARTS ?
sorry, but those aren't really helping much, since the PS2 came out way earlier, its just normal that people aren't changing to the other two !

its not everyone who have the cash to buy all 3 systems you know !
i sure don't have it, do you ?

the only reason i didn't provide a link with ratings is cause i was too lazy to search up all the good games and find their ratings. i look up game ratings everyday, cause i get newsletters in my e-mail. anyways, i'm not sure about ign, but gamespy and gamespot rate PS2 games over xbox games most of the time.

i got ps2 and x box but not a game cube and im kinda mad.

CAUSE ZOIDS VERSUS IS COMING OUT FOR IT. i mean c mon u can be the blade liger the beserk furry the ligger 0 the gun sniper.

gc will have a very good game.
