What I've heard from EGM is that GC players are only buying the major titles and none of the other lesser titles. The system isn't bringing in enough money and they might plan to bring the N64 back and work on that for awhile. So GC might not be seeing very many titles soon. But it has yet to be decided.

Gamecube's still around.. ???

I just got the mag today. So duh its still around. It may happen [b:post_uid10][u:post_uid10]SOONER OR LATER[/u:post_uid10][/b:post_uid10]. Its common sense.

yah they should keep working on the 64........I got the 64 and I like it better.........don't have much games cuz I'm playin more my snes now then my 64.......but still 64 got great games........I'm gonna buy a new game soon........anyway....... :biggrin:

well, because nintendo made their system PIRACY FREE people refuse to buy it !

on 180 games, about 80 are for childs, which means the 100 others are for 12 year and more !

but the two quote here, are just too present in peoples mind that they forgot to actually try the system and even worst, they forgot to SEE the TEENS games ! by not checking those, they encourage SONY to keep in the competition with BASTARD SYSTEMS. the ps2 have been sold enterely because of the marketting that has been made on PSOne and the fact that they were announcing the PS2 4 years before its actual release !

in fact, the only thing that still sold the PS2 is the DVD-PLAYER and MGS2 + GTA3 and SOME OTHERS like that, people forgot that even the SONY made LOTS of childish games !

thats the only things that make NINTENDO the bad news !

I love the gamecube system.... I like the other ones but I chose to buy gamecube... I have always stuck with nintendo I had a playstation wow..... But I always stuck with nintendo and will stay with nintendo. Why you ask ? Nintendo makes a variety of games for all audiences so the children that play mario or mario party can grow up with nintendo's games... Those magazines are pure opinion and I dont take them seriously

They could have improved on the N64 instead of making something new and worrying about competition. Focus on the games, make something they know people will like and sell well. That way you would have no problems. They should speak to the children and see what they like in a game, and see what they can do with that.

well, the N64 sucked hard !
it got good cause of a few games like GOLDENEYES, PERFECT DARK, ZELDA OOT, ZELDA MM and 1080 but the rest was like crappy and nintendo got bad news and had to do something.

they had 2 years before the actual PS2 was supposed to came out !
they tried the N64 FD (N64 Floppy Disk) which was a system of disks that was added to the n64 in japan. it gave the ability to ufe floppys that had like twice the size of a cartridge in game space ! but it failled to succeed in japan. so they forogt about it !

no, japanese people, which their actual BIG SALES, didn't want the crappy N64 ! so nintendo stop the research on it and started on a new system... i must say that 3 years in the making, the actual GAMECUBE got all my attention ! it made em comeback in the competition !

another thing that NINTENDO wasn't wanting to involves but will do anyway... is the INTERNET CAPABILITY. yep, RESIDENT EVIL ONLINE is coming on GC ! well, suppose to be when the console will get online !
anyway... GC is for GAMES, XBOX and PS2 are for movies and SOME games !
the choice still remain on the user who like i said, stay with stupid OPINIONS and IN-MIND stupid opinions that are actually false !

all that combined make the GC a very good system to choose from, but most of the users will just ignore everything and still say that the PS2 is better when its actually very far behind the other two console !
