karma is right, don't judge them by their "extensions" otherwise you'll never know what file type they are. on the computer, of course it's mp3 cause it's a compressed wav file that was ripped off the original cd. but when you burn it, it converts the file into wav format and burns it onto the cd. on the cd, the extention is ".wsz", this is because it is the form of wav file that can be recognized by your cd player whether it's a portable one or the one on your computer.

anyways, files on the cd don't necessarily have to be .wav files. you can burn the mp3 directly onto the cd which means the cd could then hold hundreds of songs because mp3 files are WAY smaller than .wav files. the catch is that you need a cd player that has mp3 decoding so that it can play mp3 files.

They don't make it for mac..

the only file-sharing program for mac is LimeWire, which sucks terribly. Let me put it this way:

Two hours ago, I began downloads for the following songs:
-Andrew WK: We Want Fun
-3 Doors Down: When I'm Gone
-FOo Fighters: Everlong

And for the past two hours, it hasen't even BEGUN downloading. It's displayed this "Requery sent, Waiting..." dialogue for 2 HOURS!!!

well... i'll give you an option, for what its worth, do what you want with it !

use iTUNES to download MP3s... (we had an iMAC at school and we used to download MP3s with it without a problem)
then see if EASY CD CREATOR 4 or more can be downloaded and installed on macs !
if they can, then i suggest you use it, never got a problem with it !

and before anyone flame me for giving advice, i want you all to look at what you gave and see how pathetic your advice were !
EASY CD CREATOR = easy to use, good to make MUSIC CDs that play in all cars and radios, can decode MP3 files and reencode directly to WAVES which are burned after !

yes, i wouldn't recommend it for other use, but to burn MUSIC CDs ITS THE BEST !
because it is a 2 in one software !
which almost all others aren't !
