I've noticed some problems with the Helpers:
1) They arent succeptable to hits from the enemy player 2) Sentinel wont hit Ryu standing on the ground 3) you can call them while being hit with a Super Move 4) you can call them while hitting with a Super Move

1) would there be a point to having them succeptable to oponent hits?
2)Sentinel is an anti-air dude, not suppose to hits ryu if he's standing 3)i find that the most useful, thats prolly why the helpers exist to cancel be used to kinda counter attack the opponents hyper move.. 4)makes way for sweet hard hitting combo's

I hate the sentinel, hes too slow to catch someone in the air jumping and once he lands and starts to do the attack the other person knows not to jump. You have to hit them in the air before or after he comes, and then its still hard to catch them with it because the attack is short. And I find myself being stuck with him alot.
Guile and Blanka seem to be the best. If someone is ducking the super hurricane kick you can send in blanka and it might hit them causing them to stand up and get hit with the hyper move and you can use guile nicely with the shin kuu hadouken. Just my two cents, improve sentinel, hes worthless.

yup i keep repeating myself over and over on this one SENTINEL IS TOO #### SLOW!!!
(necro i never thought of the sending blanka in while doing the hurricane hyper kick thing... good move, hmm.. might come in handy during the tournament!!!)

In MvC, Helpers are not invincible. If you hit an enemy's helper, it cancels that helpers attack. Guile's Sonic Boom should be cancelable with a Fireball. Blanka should be able to be knocked out of the air. Sentinel is Useless. Venom's attack is too short-ranged and slow to be useful.

i agree with airlock
venom is also a bit slow and only hits 1once it doesnt cancel the hyper moves it just delays it for a sec now blanka with his 3 hits and guile also hit enuff to cancel the hyper im guessing the 3 hits is useful against the lag in the game.. so 1 hit is no use against the lag =)

good point lord... but im kinda braindead... venom's hit doesnt cross the screen? oh right i remeber now... yea he kinda sucks. I think guile + blanka kinda beat out venom and sentinel by a long shot!!! something;s gotta be done to even them out no?
