Now for my 2 cents...

I think the creation theory is bullcrap...there was no god who waved his hands and in seven days and seven nights the universe was formed. There is EVIDENCE to support the Big Bang Theory. There is NO evidence to support creation...with the exception of a 2,000-year-old book of beliefs that actually PROVES absolutely NOTHING.

My theory is a variation of the big bang. There was a small ball of compressed particals that exploded and eventually over the course of trillions of earth years, it created the universe. The universe is still constantly expanding, but one day it will stop expanding and begin to do the reverse--start moving back towards the mysterious center of the universe (much like an elastic effect). Over the course of billions of years, the universe will fall back in on itself, and compress itself into a small ball of particles...which when small enough and heated enough, it will explode and create a new universe...and the process repeats infinitely.

That's how I believe our current universe was formed: there was a universe that existed before us that collapsed on itself and then exploded in what we know as a Big Bang.
