KKS this is to clear up your little miss-understanding.

First off I myself am not pissed off at the fact that I was not in the vet tourney. I was pissed off at the fact that luna and dark were because I was here long before them. You both ran on seperate rules one says its about being mainly in the forum the other says it was mainly being on the game WELL dumarses maybe you two should have gotten your stuff together before running a tournament of that caliber. And for god sake stop blaming other ppl for YOUR MISTAKES ppl are going to complain because you guys outright screwed certain individuals. I came to terms with that a long time ago. I brought up the subject as an example of how much ass kissing goes on around here as was my point this entire time but, seeing as you both are so defensive about your "vet" tourney It only leads me to believe that you were both at fault and should take resposibilty for it. I think this has gone far enough with the "vet" tournament and if you persist on playing the innocent party in this well hey then by all means create a topic about it and I will be sure to crush you mentally in every sense of the word!.

My point this whole time has been that there is alot of favortism going on in these certain topics. The same tired names pop up when there are so many new faces that have been steady and have been part of the community. The reason I think is because some only see a certain few as ever being possible canidates for being the best at anything around here. Well wake up and move out of the way if youre going to be stuck in the past.

Hey guys just wondering how many of you keep hearing all these "vet" names get recognition and dont see any of them around ? I swear some have been missing since i got here eight months ago. Let me break it down to you simply:

My posts' in regard to the vet tourney

you brought it over with your "vet" tournament and how you and KKS were going to "pick" out the vets and who YOU thought were vets in your opinion

An example harmless just brought up because it fits the point I was trying to make.

I dont want to beat a dead horse but, who are you to decide who the vets are?. It seems to me that tmy or a mod would have more of a say in that secondly how would you consider a tourney of "only forum members" a vet tourney?.
Seems to me thats another class of its own as would be a real vet tourney. A vet should be judged on time spent and they way they handle themselves ( even I listen to the voices in my head sometimes >HEHEHE!!<) in the GAME itself as well as the forum.

on this one in a way i agree with your standards.

I dont wanna waste much time on this as all im trying to say is that theres sucking up going on and in these topics theres always a whole lot of it. By the way shin did you even read what I said to karma...did you like my topic thats my point to simplify it even more why should someone who was only here for four months be considered a great poster and why is TMY even on that list I mean he created the game of course hes going to make great posts' he knows all the answers about the game.

I myself did not turn this into a debate about the "vet" topic Shinjuko being so defensive about it turned it into that on his own. My Whole POINT has been "favortism" and why create a greatest topic when theres so much of it (especially among the mods/former mods).

But yeah, you can have all the respect for yourself that you'll ever need without having to post or fight much. Just look at what happened to Koopsta. He never posted much and sure as hell didn't fight long... but he got his due respect. But look at that poll. Does it not give you some insite into how todays posts are "reviewed" by people reading them? And look at those comments. You mean to say you don't find what people think about their peers is of any interest?

If something like this had been brought up in September 2001, then again every following month, it'd be a picture perfect example of how people/the game developed and who made an impact within the forum... If there was some way to do it in the game, I'd do it there to, because I like looking back after a few months and seeing how much/people have changed. But all we've got is the "achived rankes" which is about the equivilant to going back and looking at who had the most posts at a certain period of time.

People come... go. That's life. I just like to look back without having to go through countless posts in the forum and instantly remember through a topic like this as sort of a "time capsule", that holds all our ancient memories... :biggrin:

Who knows.. maybe you'll look back on this topic one day and remember who's posts you liked reading.. :biggrin:

TRY and MAKE one then if you succeed in making a real tourney that will actually be GOOD and without error. then and only then you will be granted the right to flame shinjuko for making the vet tourney !
