The only special thing he can do with it is shot verticaly. He relys on the shoryuken, dragon punch, ShinRyuken, Shiryueppa, And the the super Kick witch is in no way like any of Ryu or Akuma's attacks so will you all quit with the put down Ken tactics!? He's not a projectile er he can just use it as a distraction or a block move. it's all part of his cool sneekey personality Ken Is the Ying of the two shotoken characters. Ryu is the Yang and you can't have Yang without Ying can you?
