Lol, i've played silver_fly. And you're right all he seems to do is superjump from one end of the screen to the other. It's not something i'll regard as lag. Once he's made his jump, i'll usually jump back and waste one of my supers. Mostly connecting. This is absolutely no lie. My hyper bar had reached level 2 i think. He, as you would expect is frantically trying to avoid a super. I SWEAR he made exactly 8 consecutive superjumps, back to back. Mugging the whole jump lock concept.
As for MVC2sucks, well he's one of the most ignorant players i've ever played against. He thoroughly low punches the whole entire game. Allowing me to rise my hyper bar to level 3 many times. Simply jump back and hit one of the supers and the corner rape is finally finished. On his side of the game, i've teleported and supered his ass. The technique is repeated. Man i don't know what is up with that guy. Doesnt he know his cheesy low punches are his actual drawback. Yet he persists. Once again this is not an example of lag.
I'll tell you what lag is. Take knoksoner for an example. His game is running at a faster pace then mine. Okay. Immediately as the round starts, his hyper bar has increased rapidly. On my end the sign fight is just up. Me not making a single touch. Seeing his hyper bar and thinking whoa, i've only begun. Distraction at it's core. Okay i resume fight, firing hadokens and already his bar up at level 2. Him only making a single hadoken and some other roundhouses lets say. To me, thats a perfect example of lag. Him doing whatever to increase his hyper bar. Mine running on the slower connection, thus unabling myself to follow his attacks thoroughly. Him not playing cheap or anything. No jumping like crazy or doing repetitive moves. Just differences in comps and connections and such.
That time i was running on 20fps. Him claiming to be on 40fps.
Thats lag for you really.
