Uh... what's the name of that 1... dam, where's the Senshuk move list when ya need it?
This was originally a couple of Chun Li's bugs with supers, but I just realized I better put down a few more I found  1. Her "fireball super," whatever its name is, you can't defend from it while standing behind her (only tried with Ryu.) 2. Her "lightning kick super," whatever its name is, I noticed in the last version (0.4b) that Sentinel beam passes right through her when you use it (and I believe it does the same for the "fireball super.") 3. Sync lost when using the Ryu "kick super," AND the other player (also using Ryu) is in the air. I've only experienced this in quick game, with Ryu vs. Ryu, normal mode, can't remember the helpers. It happened EVERY time I was in the air and he used that move. I believe it was happening to him to because the only time I used it (while he was super jumping), I hit him. 4. Sentinel (in practice mode) has problems landing while defending. As soon as he touches ground, if he's being attacked he'll be sent back into the air. 5. Can't duck and block while playing against the Sentinel in practice mode. Only seems to happen in the 1st and 2nd rounds, and only AFTER you defeat the 1st one. No matter who you're using, you can't duck and block from Sentinel's attacks in rounds 1 and 2. All rounds after that seem fine. Not sure if they're "true bugs" or just in TMyApp's plan to even out the feild... but that's what happens. |

But the fire ball super one, is ok, because her kikou-shou offers protection against projectiles and the such.Everything else.... I have not seen. ^.^'

1. I'm standing behind her, looking at her, pressing away (further behind her).
2. Well, I know that "fireball super" would protect against attacks, but it seems odd that it passes through her while she's charging. |

The defending thing is ok, because it is supposed to push you away from her (or in this case farther in front of her) so you have to time the switch block just right.
And how high was the beam going?

No, the defending's not ok because you stay right where you are and still get hit by it even when you're defending from it.
And the Sentinel beam passes through her, not over. It's the duck and hard punch Sentinel beam. And BTW, Sentinel beam passes right through her when she's doing the "bird kick" super (the one that goes almost strait up). |

Look 2000warrior your above me in status but I'm about to give you some help.
O.K. one jumping into the air works or dont't move at all if your behind chun-Li unless then just kick as soon as she starts and ryu's move stops her special quick. Don't block if you are beyhind Chun Li either because you willbe pulled into the move. (Well if it doesn't work for you it works for me,and thats the best I can help) ??? |

Hmm... well I'll try stopping the attack, but I've never been "pulled into" the move.
BTW, I'm know I can just stop it if I'm standing behind Chun Li, but I mean when I'm jumping over her and landing behind her while she's using that super... there's no way to defend from it. |

That thing lasts longer than a fireball... Not everyone uses super jumps to get over their opponent *hint*. What happens is I'm in mid-air, jumping over Chun Li when she starts the "fireball super" (not using super jump). You're too high to hit her and when you get low enough it's too late to hit her. So I just duck block in the air, avoid the attack while landing behind her, but when I actually land, the super hits for no reason at all.
Anyways... I didn't start this topic to discuss strategies. It's a bug that wasn't there a month ago. |
