Most of the time when you call out your helper and he doesn't come out it's b/c of lag. This usually happens when your opponent is doing a super and you try to call out a helper to stop him. Most of the time they won't come out during that time.
but not being able to tag your partner? I've never had that problem. but, once again, it's prolly lag. With 4(or 3) ppl in one game, and with everyone's lag all together in one place, a lot is going to go wrong. Take my advice: STAY OUT OF TAG MATCHES. Tag = Lag
