i just wanted to say that DBZ well sux,
i have seen numerous accounts related to this show and though yes it has very nice anime style drawings, the plot of the show doesnt seem to have anything interesting in it. Ppl fight, die, train with some kooky character and repeat that in a cycle. and some of you will say, well gundam wing sux dick or something. first of all gundam wing has a very nice ending and is more advanced in plot than dbz. am i a big fan of gundam wing? no i am not, i saw it once or twice liked it, changed the channel. there are much better things on tv like Nash Bridges, Superbowl, MTV. if anyone cares to agree or disagree with this please feel free to post, after all this is random insanity

Well, I agree that DBZ sucks and is way friggin' overrated. I don't even like the animation style (four-frame fire?) Now if you want a good example of that kind of anime, try the Street Fighter II one. Just one volume, and it's pretty cool.
I don't know about MTV, though, I've kinda lost respect for it over the years...

well yes MTV has played alot of well CRAP like (who knows the band, making the band, and rather overplayed music videos) though they have some funny stuff like andy dick, tom green and once in awhile a MV pops out thats great or pretty ok

first off, DBZ does not suck. DBZ, in fact, is the greatest anime ever created. First off, to truly understand the characters, you should watch the prequel Dragonball. you may not like it, because it was aimed at a very young Japanese audience. However, i cannot see why you wouldn't like DBZ. It has a great plot, awesome characters, and isn't afraid to be emotional at times (Ma-jin Vegeta's speech to Goku, Gohan's death in the Trunks special), which is something that i like. I like it a lot better than Gundam Wing, because the robot part of anime has already been done (Transformers, Big-O).

Epyon, first off, it's Nantuko, not Nantaku. Next, you may have joined the forum before me, but i've been playing the game since the beginning, when there was no Wolverine, but only Ryu.

Also, in response to the now closed Omnislasher link, all we gotta do is go into the servers and warn nOObs against fighting him. We gotta tell them not to challenge him and not to accept challenges from him. Once he can't fight any nOObs, his rank will stay the same, and eventually be surpassed

well gundam wing actually appeared before those u mentioned (not that i care) about 30 years ago. second i actually like dragon ball as a matter afact. also i was here when they only had ryu, the top scores were diffrerent, they didnt have any helpers, no lag boost etc. i respect ur liking of DBZ because after all different ppl have different taste. Sotimes if offers me some comic relief but i also notice some strange theories such as when trunks comes from the future and cell gets killed. then he goes back and kills cell again. that doesnt make sense to me because i would think once u kill him in the past, he would not exist in the future, but mainly it is still about fighting,(which gets boring.

most likely everyones reading the post about omnislasher.

Physicals r scary were not bitchin merely discussing about anime.

I feel that everybody is entitled to their opinion. I like Dragonball Z because it is violent as ####! I don't like it for any intricate storyline or unforseeable plot twists... I mean, everything is obvious in the show! If it is a worst-case scenario, then it will happen.

Now, about the Gundam series, specifically Gundam Wing, I like Gundam Wing (for the most part). I just wish that at least one of the characters was mentally stable in at least one whole episode of the show. All of that emotion, all those outbursts, just gets on my nerves. It does have a deeper storyline than DBZ, though... NOW LET US STOP COMPLAINING SO WE CAN REACH 350 POSTS!

Just one thing, winged epyon... that's what we call a time-travel paradox with Perfect Cell being destroyed by SS2 Gohan, then with SS Mirai Trunks going back in time and killing Imperfect Cell (because Perfect Cell should never have existed, but he did). They define it as being alternate timelines, but let's not get into time travel paradoxes on THIS forum... it wouldn't be insanity to have an educated discussion on such matters.

Well, my post about Omnislasher in Challenges/Tournaments is welcome to replies. Also, i respect your liking of Gundam Wing, because, as you said, everyone has their own tastes. Also, as far as that Trunks Future/Past/Killing Cell thing, it is a little complicated. The time travel in the show is not like in other shows. Mirai no Trunks's (Future trunks) future is a different future from the main timeline, and the timeline cell came from was a different timeline than where trunks came from. It gets really confusing, but in the end it kind of makes sense
