Evilakuma: I've never used this before... but for shame!

Saijin ryu: yesh.. I know what I mean... studying music doesn't just vary ur taste, it helps you analyze a piece of music from a universal point of view. Some may beg to differ... but what the heck?

be made to catch your attention, instead of making you want to feel the music
Oh no my friend.. now you're falling back on ur own words.. If you talk about taste, the melody in this music as a matter of fact catches you... and although the beats make you move, it's the melody that sticks within you as Roll rightly put.

on blanka's theme there's an ongoing beat just behind the main, this keeps the fast motion of the beat and it sometimes rely's on this.
But remember Saijin, all forms of music rely on a strict timing and sometimes rigid tempo to follow. If they don't have one, then the music becomes scattered.. so to say. If you listen to Guile's theme.. especially the one we've got at Maximumspider.com, you'll notice that, the contrast between the beat and the melody in the early seconds of the song, makes it really nice... but then it fades of and then the constant beat keeps the melody in check. It's like that for all forms of music... except those singing in acapella... even blanka's theme is like that.

So in conclusion what are the actually aims on the pieces well im strongly still thinking that they stole blanka's theme from a brazilian Mr. Whippy van..
And Guiles, well thats the kinda music to raise your hopes to and even a kind of music that will effect how into the fight you are! Charismatic and Uplifting.
Those are the words of a fan my friend.. and not a critique... heh. See, Violente Emotional may be charismatic... but what makes it so moving is the character himself. The character defines the music in Guile's case... but peculiarly, Blanka's theme does in fact define Blanka's ways.
