...And what I was trying to say was you can't use a button mashing technique as all attacks are derived using the directional keys/joystick. It'd be different if you were playing a 3D platform beat 'em up because in them alot of attacks are performed by pressing two attack buttons simultaneously, hence button mashing becomes the more indiscreet, realistic technique. In SF or most animated fighters (e.g...... mortal kombat), button mashing can't techically be displayed when playing the game. That doesn't mean you can't prove your skills are below average by using a golf ball instead of your hands, though.
