Who is the best (your opinion) - Who would win out of these people

Game and Movie wise. Not storyline and official wise, akuma. Shin Akuma, like I said, is just the same as regular Akuma, only he doesn't hold anything back. Officially, he's not the strongest character either. Rather, Gill is. Ryu doesn't even come close to Akuma in power, and if he gave into the dark Hadou, then he would be a match.
But they both had to go into a lot of training to get to where they were/are now. Sakura literally started her street fighter career, about one year after she saw Ryu fight in the first SF tournament. In that time, she had her Ki manipulation abilities at the same level as Ken. Now, that was in one year of training. ONE year. Capcom does state, actually, that she is a fighting prodigy (and a school girl). Imagine another year after that. Now, when she gives into the Dark Hadou, and she will, what do you think will happen? I believe, that not only would she be stronger than Ryu, but she could become stronger than Akuma after a bit more training. That, Akuma, is why I think Sakura is the best of the street fighters in the list above. Because she's a good fighter all-around, and she's got the potential to be the best there is.
You just can't beat a girl who can stop a rampaging M. Bison with a giggle and a point.

well, roll, story wise, akuma does go through a transformation to get to shin akuma. i believe that it first happends when he fights apocalypse... but anyway roll, i for one, do not believe that sakura could defeat shin akuma, sure she may be able to give him a good match, especially when/if she gives in to the dark hadou (movie wise) besides, shin akuma could always call upon the raging demon ( providing that sakura does not completely join the dark side *makes darth vader noise*) and silence sakura forever. :biggrin:

game wise, yes, sakura would be a tough match for almost any akuma user, regular or shin. sakura and akuma are almost complete opposites! with sakura's shinku hadoken and akumas air hadoken thingy ( i can't believe that i can't remember the name) it would definately be a close match. BUT, if the sakura user makes one wrong move and lets the akuma user get in a Raging Demon..... Overall i think that the akuma user would win...

now, if sakura was to go dark hadou, she would lose her complete oppositeness to akuma, making her an easier opponent to defeat. for example, in MvsC2, dark sakuras hadoken is the same as ryus, so akuma could simple jump up and blast her with his air hadoken thingy...

sakura and akuma make it a close match, but i really think that akuma would come out on top.

First of all, What do you mean by Apocolypse? If you meant Apocolypse, as in the

story wise, the SHUN GOKU SATSU isn't perfect ?

must i remember you that GEN completely stopped AKUMA while in it !

the shun goku satsu isn't the answer to all moves, akuma isn't just that move you know, there is a whole philosophy behind it ! seriously, and ROLL is right about the dark side... except for one thing... it takes a lot to completyely be into darkness, akuma is because he gives in totally tot he darkside and embrace it, while others just fight against it !

in any case... RYU is way stronger then AKUMa if he gets in it... but since he fights back to get back to himself (with some help form his friend, ken) he will not be able to get full strenght out of it !

so in this way... pwer wise, akuma is better, move wise, ryu has way more control over his power thou !

conclusion, DAN HIBIKI defeats all ! :colgate:

while it is a very good point that sakura could be a good match, she could not beat shin akuma. Remember that ryu had to embrace dark hadou in order to became evil ryu and deafeat regular akuma. The same as sakura's dark form. Also her shun goku satsu is different and not as powerful as akuma's. While dark sakura could easily beat akuma, she is not match for shin akuma.

Actually, NotSilent, her Shun Goku Satsu is different, but with the same ability as Akuma's. She can counter him easily, and can stop the Shun Goku Satsu as needed if she were to need to. And while Ryu needed to do that, he's not the strongest character, and we know that. The only reason why Sakura hasn't truly beaten him yet, is because he's either been faking his fight, or because he's been controlled by Bison. Both times, though she beats him, don't trul count, and they never say whether they fight each other again. Besides, Sakura is going to become much stronger than Ryu in a year or two of training. It's pretty obvious.

Akuma, I believe you are right about that kind of fight. But, then, that would take a very long time.. Imagine all of the dodging, the complicated attacks, etc.; now imagine the time it will take to watch the fight. ^-^; We'd be better off leaving this in a draw.
