1 - emulators uses machine based coding which allows more ressources controlled mechanizem that makes your PC more reliable to play the game, thus you get better frame rate which your computer readjusts itself automatically !

FLASH program have a set FPS which means your computer doesn't readjusts itself which sometimes if your computer isn't fast enough (more then a gig) it will surely have problem following the animations, thus going below the set FPS rate of the game, making this game having choppyness and frame skips which means images will be skipped to floow the animation, which will result in a kind of teleportation on your screen !

2 - the lag is the same whatever it be on kaillera or in here !
because lag is actually, the delay between both computers. connections have nothing to do with that lag you are speaking of !

3 - having cable or 56k means so few here.
cable = can send and receive a lot more data at the same time. which means data be received or send in mass. thus making you believe in a certain speed that you actually don't have since your modem cannot go faster then program which send data of a certain size !

so basically modem makes little to no difference in games ! except perhaps in games that have a lot of data going in and out by the seconds !

4 - the lag you are experiencing in this game is far from being due to the game, but is mainly done by your computer. which is probably below the average requirement of this game for a good experience !

** MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR A DECENT EXPERIENCE **
CPU : 1000mhz
RAM : 128 megs
VIDEO : 32 megs
MODEM : 56k

if you are somewhere very near those requirements, then you can have a decent experience, if not then its normal for you to have such a bad gameplay !

i was playing this before...
CPU : AMD K6-2 500mhz
RAM : 128 megs
VIDEO : RIVA TNT 16megs
MODEM : 36k

it was an hell on earth to play on that, even on an emulator !
now i have this...
CPU : CELERON 1700mhz
RAM : 512 DD-RAM
VIDEO : GEFORCE 4 TITANIUM 4200 64MEGS
MODEM : 36k
and believe me, sae connection, different computer, a lot of gameplay changes has happenned. now i'm almost always knowing where my opponent is !
