What system is better? - Ps2, xbox, gcn

1 - can play old PS-1 games ? who the hell would buy a ps2 just to play old PSOne games ? seriously did is far from being an arguments !

2 - controllers wise... sorry to disappoint you, but its all a matter of GAMES not consoles, if a game is less playable on a consoles its not the console owners problem ! its the game companies problem !

3 - SUBSTANCE, belonging to ps2 only, let me laught, GC,XBOX, and PC got it as well ! and guess what... its way betterly made for xbox and gc then it is for ps2 !

4 - more game son PS2 anyway... well duh, the PS2 came out a year and a half before the other two consoles mister i know everything !

5 - better software wise, not accurate, xbox and gc has better softwares, if a game is bad, don't brag about the console, brag about the game creators !

i cannot agree more with you ont he fact that gaming isn't all about power of the machine that runs it. but seriously, you can't have a game be avery good by just having TEXTS. i played a lot of them, many had great stories, but the lack of any graphcis sure was a very big let down !

same happens here, a game cannot live without a good story, as much as it cannot live without having great graphics ! seriously you cannot say a console is better caus eof their games. its true that games makes 80% of what a console is. but you can't place the blame on the console makers if the developpers who made the games decided to make the worst game ever !

let me laugh, you would buy an GeForce FX series of card to play video games... guess what... GeForce4 Ti4200 easily bench over the FX series ! that has been proven, the only good thing that is on the fx series is the number of textures to be kept in memory because of its 256megs !

1) I would buy a ps2 console for old ps games. I still play a lot of them.

2) Don't hide from the fact that you are playing with a dam boulder and I am playing with my perfectly designed controller.

3) For substance, which system had better controls to go with for the skating part X-box or ps2. I thought so. ps2.

4) Man, you obviously are not reading a lot lately, too crammed in the x-box. Here's my question, If this mighty x-box is so superior, why is ps2 outselling x-box console and software wise, hmm Mr. Hardware? Don't give me no "it came out earlier than it" crap. hehehe I want a to hear this.

for all i know yes it did came out a year before. but seriously, the sells are calculated by their first week-end ont he market !

1 - you still play PS1 games but you don't own a PSOne at all ? wow, i do play ps1 games but i don't know why i would buy a ps2 just for that, for the reason that i do have a psone at home ! so seriously if you bought that for that stupid reason then you are awefully insane !

2 - it sno boulder, for all i know, the big fat controller, doesn't come in anymore, the new and improved one does ! its the same size of a ps2 controller and its way more handy and button are way betterly placed then the old one which makes that problem history ! and like i say, i can just buy a controller changer and plug my psone controller in it and i'm on !

3 - mgs2 substance, you play that only for the stupid skateboard, men, live your life a little, the new SNAKE TAILS are fliping BETTER then anything they add done with your little stupid skateboard thing !

4 - you're a moron if you are sold SONY all they do is marketting and nothing else, never giving people what they want ! example: you many time did you wait before having your stupid online play ? a year or so ? for all i know th exbox has always given things they say the month or so after they talked about it, at least we don't wait for things like sony does !

seriously you can't say PS2 owns because they sell more, its way better to have an xbox trhen having a ps2 for one simple reason !

the long run !
better hardware means better chances of having so great games later that the ps2 will run out before the other consoles in the market ! which means the console will die sooner then the others, but don't worry, sony has already happenned to take the chances of saying, the PS3 will come out soon, whichmeans nothing more then 6 years from now on !

oh and i must say one thing...
JAPAN / EUROPE and ASIA DENY the XBOX because t is microsoft, and that is a fact, even before it came out, the japan, the developpers and many stores, were telling of a blue screen of death during play on xbox, were talking about how microsoft is for windows, how hard it will be to develop on XBOX. so basically everyone turned it down before it came out, now, so many changed side again and came back, many just never even tryed and are making the xbox being th eworst of them all just because its the supposedly all EVIL corporation that made it !

that you can't deny, it is said on all web site that are gaming !
if you had that on PS2 , it surely wouldn't sell that much either ! but thing is. XBOX rules. PS2 has been outclassed, you gotta admit it one day ! and you'll see what i'm saying happen. the pos2 will run out before the other consoles !

First I'd like to point out that it takes an average human brain more time to read one post SSJKARMA makes then to read 2 forums with regular posts. Dude you seriously need to cut down on all those paragraphs. Anyways,1. PS2 is better because you can game online for FREE. Xbox costs, I don't know how much but I know it costs money and people who dont have/ can't get a credit card can't play xbox 2.PS2 is better because of its unique and simple to use controllers. 3. PS2 is better because it remains an original of the playstation, and as soon as Microsoft heard about it they decided to make this so called XBOX because they knew Computer gaming would go down gradually since the PS2 would have online games. 4.MiCRAPsoft made their system more powerfull in hardware, and added 1 more feature AFTER they heard about the PS2. God knows what the specs would be if they hadn't heard about sony's gaming console. 5. This goes directly to Karma: "PS2 FOREVER! ALL HATAS CAN SUCK SATANS DICK!"

1 - you don't know poop ! XBOX cost only the XBOX LIVE and if you already have your internet connection then you are ok and you can play otherwise you'll have payment to do to have your internet connection !

2 - you seem to be the kind that says sony rocks whatever they do, including faking making consoles and actually promising things that do not even come out at the right time ! that is stupid !

but must i remember you that microsoft been doing the XBOX way before the PS2 came out ! the actual fact is... SONY rushed the ps2 which was gonna come out only a year later, but since they learned of the GAMECUBE and XBOX they decided to get a head start and rush the console out a year before it should have been ! the why you didn't have any internet playability and the why the PS2 had so much bugs not solved !

Let me Break it down ta ya real quick X-box is best cause the rich gfx and if youdont like the controller for xbox go out and spend some cash and get a mad catz i love the xbox contrillers. i use one when i play my pc games, and since GTA 3 and gtavc are out for xbox the online versions of the game are comiung in march or april but i dont really want it . cause iu have the muyltiplayer mod for the pc version. so i can play in a whole city with 32 other people who can either flip u up during a mission so that u fai or form a gang and kill u on sight, compete in street races, or just help each other out during a mission thats all the games about sex drugs killing and cash thats wat sets it apart from the others, now in true crime streets of la u play as a cop who as in GTA u can jack cars kill people and perform various tasks but its is basically a driving fighting and shooter at the same time but the driving part is basically a simulation but it gets kind of repetitive most of the time..... so basically xbox runs way faster than ps2 cold ever move and Xbox EVo2 comes out in 2006 its gonna be running at 1700mhz with 2 video cards which will revolutionize gaming history and when ps3 comes out it will only have 733mhz isnt that sad and halo is gonna be on ps2 summer of 2004 cantr wait to see howbad it plays and marve| vs capcom 3 is gonna blow the roof off 2d gaming and revolutionize the way u play fighting games .. with amindblowing 162 characters including characters like dante from the famed devil may cry series with the hidden inclusion of the snk franchise in it will be around 200+ characters and will be an xbox Exclusive but id prevfer to play it with a ps2 conterooler but who cares???? and including Enter the matrix 2 AKA: the matrix returns will feature a 2 player coop mode with vs fighting and the slow motion in the game takes the way bullet time was used to the next level it will look so real on the xbox that uu could swear u could do it right at home.. and half-life 2 is going staraight to xbox 3 or 4 months after release..cause ps2 or gamecube cant stand the beautiful gfx that hl2 has to offer... there was a state ment that alienware couldnt even run hl2 with the amazing visual effects and gfx contained with a 320x640 resolution. and on the other hand looks like the getaway 2 is gonna be a xbox exclusive and yes u play in Ney york city this time as frank hammond his son stolen again and Charlie jolson wasnt killed in the Boat accident hes still alive and rolling up blunts like always.. and the next GTA will vbe an exclusive to xbox only cause rockstart sees that gta was made for the xbox not ps2 word has that gta 3 and vc might find its way to GC.... thats all i should tell u guys dont wanna ruin the suprises for next year :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock:

Karma is actually doing pretty good. All his ideas are not all jammed together. Therefore making it easier to read.

And if it really is too much to read just skim over it.
