well the only reason that it stops at a certain point that i remember about is if you close the window when it's in the middle of loading the dcr file(shockwave file)which causes it to be corrupted and no matter how many times you try to reload you get stuck on the same problem or it looks like it finished loading but once you try to play it doesn't do anything. clearing the cache works to delete the corrupted file but if you had an eariler version of the game and don't want to reload all the charactors again then on the win2k/xp simply unhide hidden folders and goto C:\Documents and Settings\*your user account*\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files and veiw the files by details and locate the dcr file and delete it...it will save you a lot of loading time. for win9X-ME i think it's under C:\Windows\Temporary Internet Files not really sure cause i don't use those OS's anymore
