Wolverine has no range at all.. The only thing it's good at is close combat.. And not to mention Ryu has awesome range.. If you don't close up the gap immediatly you are just gonna get fireballed to death.. Well obviously you would like to see that if you are the person using Ryu.. However your opponet certainly isn't that stupid most of the time.
