sigh....fireballs were placed in the Original StreetFighter : World Warrior Edition in the arcades WAAYY before some of you even heard of the name "Streetfighter". The merger between SF and Xmen battle was considered balanced actually. Wolvie doing more damage in close combat and Ryu doing good damage with his fireballs and dragon punches. Ryu has ALWAYS been the hero of SF series hence his 'power' in the game. If you can't handle it, then don't complain.

PS: Basically Wolverine is for advanced players. Good Wolvie players will know how to avoid the fireballs and 'get in close'. If you can't do that then maybe you shouldn't be playing Wolverine.

Last word : In the game, the BASIC strategy for Wolvie is for closecombat while Ryu uses his fireballs for long range. If you aren't using that, you aren't using your character to his 100% potential. If you can't beat that, DON'T EVER impose your 'beliefs' or whine about it.
