The problem with people today is that they're too ignorant to focus on problems that they don't think will affect them in their own lifetime.
that was very well put blanka. i have a theory though. cars are the leading pollutants in the world, especially USA. the gasoline is made up of hydrogencarbons (HC). and when mixed with the air in the combustion chamber, it burns and leaves as CO2. now what if we just used the hydrogen element alone in its liquid form? i not sure how they obtain hydrogen but i know one method that could work, i called it personally reverse fusion, using H2O. pick up some water (i'd perfer fresh from a river or lake, dont know the effects of salt), and seperate the two molecules (hydrogen and oxygen). i believe its electro dialysis that can do that. now with a special machine to identify the elements, we shoot the oxygen in the air and hopefully, it will speed up the process of the ozone rebuilding itself, cause i read it could take 50 years or more to do so alone. the hydrogen then can be supercooled to its liquid form, go through some testing, yadi yadi yada, then if its good enough, the new energy source. start with cars and then see what else it can do without being too violent, or else we need to add some nitrogen or some other inert gas with it. if my plan works, this can be a small step in elliminating fossil fuels. defrostation needs to be stopped too, especially in the amazon, thats where 40% of the air supply comes from. that is unless i can figure out how to convert CO2 into O2 lol.

i know, but if we mix it with an inert gas....

Quote from blanka09
"As for the Ozone layer, which is another different case entirely, this is like a special type of Oxygen. O3 to be specific. Now, Oxygen as you'll know is diatomic... but Ozone is triatomic. Unfortunately, this Ozone is not that strong... however, it's the right shape and size to absorb the Ultra violet rays coming from the sun. Thus you can call the Ozone layer the earth's sun glasses Anyway, this Ozone layer is being depleted by checmicals known as CFCs (Choloroflorocarbons.. a mixture of Chlorine, Carbon and Flourine) These are the chemicals you'll see in spray cans (in the past anyway) and in refigerators to puffup plastic foam. Spray cans in the USA do not contain CFCs anymore. " Don't worry ppl, all the pollution over LA and that seems to float away to where ice is ( Antartica ). Trust me I live in NZ now ( use to live in USA ), and the ultraviolet rays make the temp seem so much hotter than it should be. When it is 71.6 F = 22 C, it feels like it is in the 80's or higher. As what snake said, there are busses now that are using hydrogen power. These were chosen to see the effects ofusing it. Also u couldnt put too much oxygen into the air, because then it would become unbalanced. if youlook at the charts nitrogen is the main ingrediant in our air. Edited By sf6689 on 1101593224 |

Where to begin here....*ahem* oh yes.
In regards to Nantuko Joe's post about the greenhouse effect on venus. I recall thier being a venus eclipse sometime earlier this year I hope you took the time to find out about that seeing how that even happens...every 172 plus years(Not sure). Yeah, Acid rain...I recall seeing the skys turn golend when ever it was acid rain falling....I suppose that would explain....Venus's golden color...from alot of those key elements...and compunds...and what not... ============================================== Blanka09 interesting...it reminds me of how the water cycle.....is similar to the carbon cycle.... ============================================== Solidsnake76 ok.... Your ideal is a good one... The process of turning seawater into fresh water would be the best approach to your ideal. This world is made up of a majority of Salt Water........interesting how in the last few centuries...land mass has increased....with the predicted floods....to happen in the generations to come.... Droughts....and yet floods in other land areas.... Makes you ponder on a way to transport water through Atmosphere...some what like a car pole system..... and make it so that all areas of the world had an even amount of water supplies....not to much..I mean... Then I guess we're going to talk about rain forest being cut down in south america.... Well let the discussion begin.. ??? |
