spyware is usually just stuff that people trick you into downloading so they can advertize and make money.
you get it by downloading somthing kinda "shady".......anything....like kazaa... you get rid of it by downloading two programs: ad-aware and spybot search & destroy run them at least once a day, and always check for updates........that should keep your computer running smoothly
