Projectiles - Tone them down

some characters are good without projectile you know(like Guy from SFA3) and most anti-projectile characters have moves that can overide a projectile(Zangief's Palm fire attack), counter a projectile(Zangief's Spinning Latriot from Street Fighter EX plus alpha) , or even dodge projectiles (Yun's back attack from Street Fighter III)

Besides in MvC who needs projectiles when you got 3 guys on each squad. Anyways this is bad idea would make Ryu even more unbalanced than he already is. Who knows Tmy might actually agree to this. Hey he agreed to taking drill claw from wolvie...who knows :laugh:

1 - wrong, projectiles aren't the game. after all this is not a blasting festival, but a fighting game.

2 - projectiles are ok for what it is. there so much toned down that now it takes a lot of hadokens or beams to kill someone. you get all the time you need to kill someone doing only those !

3 - lag is there there is nothing you can do about it. and true, caus eof the lag, even if you played the game on the real game or a rom, throwing projectiles seems to be the solution to blocking alot of the attacks, so people keep playing it cheap like that, there is nothing you can do about it !

conclusion: this thread sucks and serves no purpose except being another way of bitching at TMY's work. this has been said too many times !

oh and DRILL CLAW, there was a big problem with it, when you see people doing this 50 times in a round and there is no way to counter it, you see there is a problem here ! even if he toned it down it still was problematic. that's why he removed it fomr the game. but he'll get it back as an air-only move to make it be less cheap and make sure none redo the same as before !

Well what you just stated in that quote. Tells me that this is just another "CHEAP" topic. Which as everyone knows is nowbeing considered spamming. I suggest this topic be locked or deleted either one is find. If you want to know why there is no such thing as being cheap other than you arent good enough to be cheaper, or need more pratice to avoid being "cheaped" out. Then read some of the other LOCKED cheap character topics pls.

Ok ummm...that whole post was just confusing. To be honest I didn't understand half of it because it was a 2 page sentence, but anyways. If your gonna tone down projectiles, tone down sentinels rocket punch, akumas raging demon, heck lets just remove all the trademark moves of the characters and play kicks and punches only :laughlong: .

Im SERIOUSLY getting annoyed with these USELESS IDEAS. Its WORST thans reading SPAM. PLEASE people will you ACTUALLY spend ATLEAST MORE than 5seconds thinking of something that would actually make the game BETTER not WORST. I mean its only MY opinion ofcourse, BUT its can be proven and I can prove that most of these topics have not been usefull towards the game well atleast this one and few others. ESPECIALLY THE LAG TOPICS. GET A BETTER COMP and SHUT UP! I mean if you really hate lag that bad SPEND SOME CASH and get a better comp. No program that COULD be put into the game will make lag stop for you if you're on below 1.5 gig machine. If you say you have a good machine and still causing lag its false and I could always check your system out myself...AND STOP COMPLAING about PROJECTILES its going to get to the point where Tmyapp just remove this section of the forum. OR only let CERTAIN people post here.
