Charlie: you realize there have been 2 tournaments before mine and they both bombed out right?

Setting up a tournament isn't just saying your going to do it, and then everything will be ok.

I worked my ass off this last tourney, and it STILL had problems. This new one is going to require me to put in some serious time as well.

I don't know if you planned to do one yourself, but my man this isn't something you pull off unless you have ALOT of time on your hands.

I've been the only person so far who has been able to pull of a tournament from start to finish, and one of the mods even held his own tourney without success.

but its nice to know that there's always someone out there who thinks that what you're doing is really easy, so they will be able to do it to:biggrin:

Tarkan/Token: because of the double elimination rule, it wont really matter where your ranked or who you face, you can still lose once and win the tournamant. The whole reason for having it be that way is that the tourney balances itself out it terms of REAL skill when you do that. (btw you know your not allowed to enter this tournament right Tarkan? At least not if you beat Lordcyris)

Token: A little of both. Somehow I don't think people are going to take kindly to *me* assesing skill. But if someone like you who I know is very good isn't in the top 64 and the top 64 actually sign up, the Im not going to leave you out

nosoul4evr: the whole point of it being hidden is that you have to find it to see it, it shouldn't be too hard though. Some ppl have already noticed it, so see if you can pull it off too
thats why i loved your last tourney, great planning, and answering the mind numbingly retarded questions that people never stop asking...

but im glad your taking actual skill into account...i mean, not to insult anyone, but to have my place taken by the likes of say...nferno999, or some shit would be ridiculous, seeing as that someone like you recognizes actual game skill.

kudos, zing.

well...are you entering the tourney?

no offence to lord, but my moneys on tarkan, so im assuming hes out of it, which reduces my chances of lossing greatly. hes one of the few people i have trouble beating. the other would be umj, at times, you, ramziel, also at times, lefty, nferno, at times, ect...not too many, but with him outta the way *assuming*, i shouldnt have much of a problem getting to a point where i can secure a spot in the finals.

well the beauty of double elimination is that it breaks down according to REAL skill.

with the last tourney you could easily have made a case that you could have won it Token.

with this one...if you don't win...that means you got beat by 2 ppl...translation: you weren't supposed to win the thing based on skill anyway.

That's why im doing it like that. If you get eliminated its going to be quite hard for you to argue you could have won the thing

basically the REAL skilled players will do well, while the wanna be's will crash and burn.
