it is easily possible to use cyclops without being cheap, it's just that most people in this game think like u do, that cyclops only really has optic blasts and mega optic blasts but if you actually spend time practicing with him you'll learn that you can do just as much damadge with jene splices and cyclone kicks. the best thing to do is to use those atacks as much as possible instead and then to use optic blasts if the enemy starts using hadoukens or whatever other attacks as soon as you get near then run back in and start hiting them loads.
